I really enjoyed this fic. It was engaging, and I had to read to the end, but I almost stopped when I got to Touya Mejin's intervention- he seemed grossly out of character. But I treated it like an AU or something and it was fine. Very fun, exciting racy moments kept me addicted.

i'm sorry but after 10 chapters of ridiculous gay teen boy angst i can't take this fic seriously anymore. and i suspect in later chaps u'll have one or both of them having sex with someone else while the other dies inside or some such nonsense.i do however wish to say ur writing is great and for the angst lovers out there it's probly fantastic. i must give you credit for the effort you put into this.

it was really good i especially like how you changed their roles at the end and had great character resolvings. too bad that the anime couldnt end up like this.

Okay, you have no idea how happy I am that this is finished (I would have died if I had to write you a year after you'd left off screaming at you to finish it!). Because this is the best Hikaru no Go fanfic I have ever encountered, hands down. You made the situations so realistic and the emotions so genuine... I wish I were better with words so I could describe what a fantastic fic this is. The only thing that feels left unfinished is poor Kota... but I just have to trust that Touya will poke Shindou to explain things to him and that he will find someone else to fall for who will fall for him completely, as well. I really did feel sorry for him, Hikaru is so terrible with that. But Waya's development was perfect; I dislike reading fics (not including PWP shorts, of course, dirty dirty me) where the whole world is gay, every person you meet is gay, and gay is okay with everyone. I very much prefer the realistic awkwardness, and Touya leaving his house and the issues with his father were just a necessary addition to this (especially because his dad is a nut like that, and I would never, ever expect him to be calmly accepting of his son's relationship with another man- not to mention a whacko like Shindou!- let alone being happy for him, for chrissakes!) and gave it that touch of realism every m/m fic needs (in my opinion, at least). Aside from that, it was well-written and had few grammatical or spelling errors, which in itself is enough for me to like a fanfic these days! This fic yanked my heart around in all different directions, and that is a beautiful thing when reading fiction. I sincerely hope you still read comments on this old story, because I want you to know that you made my week with this!

AMAZING Absolutely amazing! Very well written and very intricate. The only thing that saddened me was the whole Kota thing didn't get settled, but other than that, it was AWESOME.

Well now, this is probably the longest fic I've ever read, and surprisingly enough it has kept my attention the whole way through! I'm not quite to ch. 33, actually... I'm only on 31. I want to comment when I'm done reading, but this bothered me something awful, thus requiring me to ask about it. At 31's end, in the line "'I am not an uke!' Hikaru exclaimed passionately." ... an doesn't flow, but a is wrong, couldn't you just take out that article all together and make it "I am not uke"? I don't know, maybe that would make it worse... ^-^;

Oh my God, there is so much I'd like to say about this story. There were some small faults that I found, like occasional inconsistence with characterization or too often repeating "aqua-eyed boy" etc, but the point is, the point is, I can only think of those when I'm not reading. When I was in the middle of this story, my all thought was swept away by the compelling, addictive storytelling and by the very, very hot smut. So yeah, I think that while there are some issues that you can still work on to make your fics even better, your storytelling abilities are brilliant. And let's face - that's the important thing in fandom.

Wow. I think I started reading this fic, and the beginning I was like "uhhh...not sure about this fic", but I stuck with it (cause I was looking forward to the WayaxIsumi mostly XD;). I think it was just the ideas made me go "is this where i think it's going?". And while it did, the execution was different from other things I've read (in other fandoms). I was very much glad I did continue reading it in the end. ^___^ 20 chapters into it and I'm writing a review (although it's a review long overdue). :D But yes, excellent job on this fic. I must say I love the WayaxIsumi. And the HikaAki is well done too. :D The angst is just what I like to read, and definitely has kept me reading and grown to like how you've portrayed the characters in this story. Can't wait to read more of it. And hehe, maybe I'll be inspired to write my own WayaxIsumi fic some time soon. ^^; Anyway, excellent job so far!~ Looking forward to reading the rest of it. ^___^

(I know you can't really respond to this now, but I really feel the need to reply to your hysterical note anyway. Seriously, I was cracking up for most of it.) ## Wait, what? It's done? *is shellshocked* I'm a bit confused at the moment, to be honest. On one hand, the end was so cute, and I'm totally squeeing about uke-Akira and the kinky bondage thing... but on the other hand, I don't want it to be over. Hmph. It was a good ending, though. Fluffy but not overwhelmingly so. ## Yes, of course smack/cuddle/smack is the response for Waya... that's how you know he's IC. Even if he is my favorite, I still want to hit him every five minutes on average when I'm reading or watching the canon. It just means that you totally nailed Waya's character... though for the record, I think you really nailed all of them, not just Waya. ## The really sad thing is that now that I've started looking for Waya/Isumi fics, I'm finding out that it's actually easier to find Waya/Hikaru. Hell, it's almost easier to find Hikaru or Akira/Ogata. *shudders* ## Heh. I think I blocked out the horrific memory of Hikaru's wardrobe in self defense. Some of that stuff really WAS awful in the extreme... and really, how is it that no one ever commented on it? What kid runs around dressed like that? Then again, *nothing* compares to Touya's purple suit. I have that image permanently burned into my eyeballs. ...Though I can imagine that part of Hikaru's goal when they started going out in the first place was to scandalize Akira as much as possible, aside from looking like a pimp, of course ^_^ ## All in all, this was wonderful to read, even though I will miss it. Completely random note: Okay, I've been rewatching some of the earlier HnG episodes... I take back what I said before about Hikaru's outfits being OOC. If you look at some of the absolutely ridiculous clothes he wears sometimes- I mean, really. Oh my god. The fishnet shirts and stuff really aren't a stretch in the slightest. He would TOTALLY do that... especially once his mom stopped doing his shopping ^_^. Yeah, anyway, just thought I'd share.
