Great start. I enjoyed both the character development of all the characters (though especially Kagome and Inu Yasha) as well as the interesting and engaging storyline and all the possibilities/issues that you've introduced. I'm eager to see how Kagome and Inu Yasha's relationship will develop and progress throughout the plot. Your writing style is very clean and polished, and flows very naturally. You captured each voice perfectly and made the characters your own in this unique setting. I liked the attention to detail and never felt that the characters were OOC because you clearly conveyed the setting and circumstances of each of their lives in this particular time period. This story is a refreshing change--I've been looking for a good story to read for awhile now and this is perfect. Hope to see more soon!

Well I like this story. It is very orginal and your writing is very good. This is one of the best stories I have read in awhile and it also kept my interest. thanks for writing it and coming up with the idea. J

yup, i'm a sucker for period romance, especially when it blooms out of having no idea what to expect from one another. *carnal desires* snort! i can't picture a human yashy with those! is kikyou jealous? or is she hoping that kagome's arrainged marraige simply turns out as poorly as hers? i can't wait to see if inuyasha does prove to kagome how wrong kikyou is about how men can be! and their father should be strung up by his toes. this was a great start and i'll be watching for more.

I really like this so far. I feel as though I am watching a Japanese period film. You did a good job setting up background and keeping true to the formality of the era. I look forward to the next chapter.

Very good start, I love the premise. I too, am a sucker for romances so this should be good. I love the setting you placed them in. And its still Inu and Kagome, so OOC is kewl. Love AU fics. Keep up the good work and update when ya can! :P
