You were right, I did enjoy this chapter. I like how Jiniji's mom is helping to push them together. You can feel the internal turmoil in Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Kouga. This triangle is really heating up! Now I'm wondering is Sess going to continue to fight? Is Inu going to turn his back once Sess heals? Is Kouga going to drag Inu away? I can't wait! Great work!

Oh WOW! I had to sit and read the whole thing. It was the best time I've had in one place lately. This story is so awesome and I do have to thank Madmistress for the rec but babee, you so rocked with this one! I can't wait until the update!!

Superb update girlfriend and beta! I hate how Naraku is still able to get his way even after his death. But this is a test for both Sesshomaru and InuYasha eh? Is it true that Sesshy was not himself when he poisoned InuYasha? I sure wish that to be true. But if it wasn't true then will InuYasha forgive him? It is interesting to me how you make Jijenji ask InuYasha to go get Rin. What are you up to? Hmmm.... It is also interesting to me to see how you reveal that Kouga may want InuYasha but admits that he can live without him. Great work and enjoy writing the next chappie. Woah! What a trip! Ok, first of all, thank you for writing Inu/Sess fics with superb lemons. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Next, that was a roller coaster for me. I enjoyed the beginning of the story as the development of both Sesshomaru's and InuYasha's feelings grew. And the inner workings of Rin and Shippo were cute and fun. I was shocked when InuYasha was killed by Sesshomaru and I deeply shared Inu's disappointment. The lemon scenes between the brothers and then between Demon InuYasha with Kouga were sizzling hot! I can still imagine InuYasha's naked form lying on the bed face down showing his shapely behind. *drool* :-D As always, your use of words is finger licking good and very descriptive. :-P I did not get to read the original but this posting is awesome. My thanks to Koga's Hentai Luver and Hellfyrre; they're wonderful betas. And thanks to DemonGoddess for helping you to post it in mm.org. The observations that I can contribute this time are the following: Kouga's introduction to the story, at least the reason why he was staying with InuYasha, did not flow easily for me. In other words, I suddenly felt like it was a forced introduction. I don't know how this could be improved other than letting him in the story and insert the introduction within his dialogue. Next, after InuYasha died, I missed how that happened. I kept telling myself, "duh the title 'Last Rites' should have been enough for me to look for it," but it didn't. Perhaps, after the sentence "Forgive me, brother. I do love you," something like "he accomplished what he had set out to do after all," could have made it clearer for me. But you know, nobody else has said anything about that. So perhaps it's just me missing it because my kids and husband kept trying to talk to me while I'm reading this masterpiece. Aaaarghh!!! So, basically, as a fan I can only thank you for the time and effort that you have put into this fic. It was a wild ride for me because I did not expect several things but those sharp unexpected turns are what made the story believable. I can see that you're still working on other chapters so take your time, enjoy working on them and continue to take care of yourself. Kudos on the award, it is well deserved! QS

the argument between sesshoumaru and the voice in his head was very disconcerting, but fascinating the first time i read it. after kouga's revelation that sesshoumaru's actions were being influenced by the poison that was still in his system, i had to re-read it. in that enlightened state the dialogue amazed me. i loved how you had kouga's sarcastic nature playing counterpoint to inuyasha's depressed introspection. if you had just explored inuyasha's feelings of betrayal in this chapter it would have been too much. having kouga share the spotlight gave a sense of lightness to this chapter that was needed after the previous chapter. it gave a chance to see just how deeply inuyasha's feelings went, without being swamped with angst overload. i only wish that i had been able to read this the first time that you posted it. i would have liked to see how much the story has changed. whatever it was like in its previous incarnation, i love this version. thank you so much for putting so much work into this story.

oh, wow! that was completely riviting. how could anyone write something so anazingly compelling? the emotional interaction between the two of them blended perfectly with the physical acts. i felt both of their needs and wants. the conflict that drove both of their desires made me an emotional wreck. this has to be the most powerful writing i've ever read. bravo!

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!! The sex was more than just a juicy lemon. It was so moving, it brought tears to my eyes! It was heart wenching to read all the conflicting emotion going on in him. Trying to balance his old feeling for his brother, and realizing his deep love for him...Aahhhhhhh! You gave me shivers!!!!
