sesshoumaru and kouga in a cock fight over inuyasha? this is too good! i love the questioning emotions that inuyasha is going through. and sesshoumaru's attitude of 'if it bothers me, kill it' is so in character for him. i can never get enough of this story. thank you so much for posting it.

i have just recently discovered your writings. i can honestly say i'm impressed. i love how you are developing the relationships, but who will come out 'on top', kouga or sesshoumaru? is inuyasha being drawn to sesshoumaru only because it represents a safe and happy time from his past? and is he drawn to kouga simply because it's a safe haven from loneliness? i hope you continue with what you are doing, because i am now in love with your work. thank you for the enjoyment you have provided.

hmmm. oh that. i actually prepared that in my pc, but rl intervened - i guess you could tell from my lj what these events were - still are - but maybe this weekend.. i'll give you that thing. this particular chapter sounds subdued but similar... so it may be me, and not your editing ...i find myself wanting to hurry up the fic to the parts i liked... *grins*

Well, I didn't get the chance to read it the first time, but I am certainly enjoying it now. A good angsty start. Can't wait to see how it turns out. You seem to have good betas if this is a re-done story. Of course, good betas can only go so far if the story itself isn't good! I'm sure this will end up downloaded into a word document so I can read it off line and I don't take that time with too many fics. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

you will find this strange, but i find that this chapter seemed to have less dramatic impact than the original one. The original piece was not as suave, but it really sounded like inuyasha... like i could hear him. This piece on the other hand, sounds like a smoothen inuyasha. It is as if - the voice i hear is an edited version of inuyasha. a more cultured one whereas t he original one, he sounded rough, unsure - like the inu i know. does that sound strange? i think i have your original piece copied in word format somewhere. why? because my internet was spotty then and i couldnt always connect when i wanted to read - i would read my copy in word. i should copy this chappie and do a one-on-one comparison so i could tell you. i might do that on the weekend... right now i could only tell you how it sounded in my memory. i love your fics. i would re-read them and cry. this chapter is well and good, but it lacked the dramatic impact the original had. as far as my memory feels.... anyway. aside from that, you know how much i like your fics, betaed or unbetaed. so here it is - in black and write, that appreciation.

I see what you mean. There are definite changes and improvements between what you posted now, and before. It was good before, but flows much better now! Hellfyre is the BETA GODDESS! hehe Anyway, can't wait to see what other subtle changes you have in store for the next chapter. ^-^

I dont' think this is the same as the other Torn I read. Since that one started with Inuyasha being in really bad shape. This is a good start.
