There really aren't enough 1x2x5 fics (and variations thereof *waves Duo as uke banner*) and I think you did well with this one. You seemed to capture the pilots and the action coupled with the angst/drama of relationships was perfectly balanced so that it never fell into stagnation.

There better be some hot 3-way sex in next then and some 3x4 sugar or I'll go into shock! How'd you like to pay for my hospital bill then? :P In other words - brilliant and addictive! - Lap (because I am too lazy to log in)

Reviewed By: MrChristie [MediaMiner Member] On: July 16, 2007 04:29 CDT Comment/Review: Well, I do believe 'Oh, shit.' does in fact sum it up rather eloquently. An interesting twist. A very interesting twist. I wonder how Wufei is going to explain his way out of this one. Never mind that it's not his fault. Well, not mostly. I mean, it's Heero. Who wouldn't sleep with him? Ok, rabid fangirling aside, I really like how this story is developing. The situations are realistic, the angst isn't over dramatized into cheezyness, and the characters act like people, not robots. I like how you let the characters develop instead of using the 'and-then-they-miraculously-realize-they-all-have-the-hots-for-each-other-a t-the-same-time-and-jump-into-bed-together-just-like-that' plot twist that some authors do when writing a threesome. (Or what I suspect will be a threesome.) I hope the next update will be soon, because I think this cliffhanger will kill me. I *really* wanna see how poor 'Fei is gonna pull his bacon outta this one.

That's really mean. CLIFFHANGER! *insert scream of anguish here* Ok, truth, I'm rooting for a 1x2x5 here, if only so that our boys can come out of this with less emotional trauma.... and they all get someone. on a more formal note. I love your writing. The style, the characterizations, the pacing. It all works. I flip around to all the stories posted during the day and make a list of what I want to read and if you have posted then you are up at the top of the list (beaten out only by Kracken and whoever is doing Amasa ^_^)

I can't help but worry. If Heero and Duo are off together, might Heero not try something with Duo? I mean, he's been pretty agreeable to having sex with any of the other pilots...seems like he doesn't attach a lot of emotion to it. Yet. But, knowing Duo's past, I worry that Heero won't be, er, sensitive enough for poor Duo. Then again, he's been known to surprise me. Ah well. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next update to find out how things go with them. (So long as you keep Heero the hell away from Relena...that's all I ask.) ---snow

Reviewed By: MrChristie [MediaMiner Member] On: July 06, 2007 06:18 CDT Comment/Review: More lovely 1x5! Are we going to learn more about what is motivating Heero? Because I, for one, am intrigued. Does he actually like Wufei or is it just a comfort thing? Is Duo going to fight Heero for Wufei, cause I almost think he would do much better with Quatre. Well, however it works out, keep writing, because I'm still reading!

Comment/Review: Very interesting chap with a bit more of the 1x5 interaction while once again leaving me needing to know more about Heero.I love the depth you've given him and the humanity you've managed to intertwine with Wufei's hard character. Though I don't like seeing Duo hurt and hope you won't make him suffer too long. :)

Comment/Review: Very emotional and a chap that left me with a fascination for Heero. As you say in your AN - but what about Duo? How will he react? Would he go back to his old motto of 'run and hide' or face his demons? And what about Trowa and Quatre? Will his blondness have to go hunting for him? 'Cause a Quatre in 'mission more' is scary! :D Once again - loved the chap and I simply can't wait for next one!

Reviewed By: MrChristie [MediaMiner Member] On: June 28, 2007 02:37 CDT Comment/Review: Well, me and my inner fangirl had to go fight it out bare-knuckled as to whether my review would contain anything like '*Sqeeeeeee* Hot Wufei and Heero boysmex!!' but since I won, this review should be somewhat more coherent. (But I suppose since it's in anyway, then it wasn't much of a win) Chapter 13 was wonderfully full of limey goodness and I feel it is my duty as a huge fan of anything and everything 1x5 to do everything in my power to make you write more. Including feeding carrots to your plot bunnies to make them grow big and strong and capable of taking over your brain to make you write more 1x5. And 2x5. And maybe even 1x2x5. Especially since you do it so well. That line at the end (I actually gasped as I read it) made me wonder if Duo isn't the only one to have a thing for Wuffers. Ok, so maybe my inner fangirl had a bit more of a hand in writing this review than I would have liked, but I suppose that shows how much I like the new Chapter in particular and this story in general. Keep up the good work, and I'm terribly sorry for another long review. ^^"

Comment/Review: I am enjoying how you are developing these characters. Instead of planting them into pre-molded ideas and forms, you are letting them develop from the original vague references and character designs. And making them work. Instead of the traditional fan-fic 3x4, I love how you start with a 1x3(fuckbuddy) and let things develop. They have to explain WHY they want to be together. Real people have problems, your characters have real problems. (I'm holding out for a threesome 2x5x1, I'm a happy-ending-for-everyone kind of gal)

Reviewed By: MrChristie [MediaMiner Member] On: June 27, 2007 07:17 CDT Comment/Review: I read the review by 'bb' and I just have to wonder how? How is the story ruined by a mention of a past traumatic experience by a character? I sincerely doubt the author included the mention of rape for it's own sake. The mentions of past rape and trauma do in fact have a pertinant relevance to the story and help move the plot forward. It provides yet another hurdle for two young men struggling to have a relationship to overcome. Even if it may not be the most inventive of pasts for Duo, it is nonetheless a believable one because it happens. Masochism and sadism have very little to do with it, especially from the victims point of view. One doesn't have to be a masochist to read it either (although I admit to being somewhat confused to the reference; masochists are people who like having pain inflicted on themselves and that doesn't make much sense in the context of reading mentions of rape). Another point to mention, I honestly hadn't noticed that the author hadn't posted any warnings; it didn't really seem necessary. After all, the story is rated 'T' for no one under 16. If a reader who is over 16 still can't deal with *mentions* of something as admittedly hideous as rape, then I've no idea how they will function in the real world. Because as horrible as it is, people get raped every day and ignoring it won't make it go away. At any rate, my opinion (as unwanted as it may be) is that 'bb' overreacted in proportion to the 'crime' and that if they had nothing constructive to say, then they should have at least said it with the need for swearing. Please keep up with the writing and I hope to see a new post out soon! ~Mr.Christie
