Hmmmm, why not leave it for now, if you don't have a firm, clear idea for more? Work on your next story, and if inspiration for this one comes up, you can always add to it. Like before, I'm good with it where it's at, but it's your story, and only you can tell it like it needs to be told. Don't stress over it, work on the next, and see what happens. It will all be good, I have no doubt!

I think this is a fine ending. Not every fic has to have a mating/baby/pup/ever after epilogue. Some things are best left to the imagination. Not that I have a problem with lemons, mind! ;p Great job, your next will be just as wonderful.
