How different from Inuyasha said to Kagome that day he drove her away. The irony is killing me. I love the way you have described both kagome and inuyasha's suffering, -- in the way they both feel cold and detached from everyone and everything else. And Inuyasha IS realizing that Kikyou does not fill the place that Kagome did, no matter how powerful or skilled. He is wrong about one very important thing, though. Kikyou does NOT need him. She never did. And that's the main reason why they never would worked out, even if Naraku had never interfered. She's already told him she just wants to rest when this is over. There's no place for him with her. There never was. Kikyou refused his help and protection time and time again. Kagome needs him, and that has made all the difference. Protecting her gave him the strength to overcome impossible odds again and again. She brought him friends, while Kikyou only brought him her own occasional company and kept him isolated. He learned new techniques and masterd Tetsusaiga's many powers because of Kagome and her belief in him. Really, everything he is and everything he has he owes to Kagome. And I think/hope he is finally realizing that. But that knowledge is going to come at a great price, isn't it? I wonder who Shippou has gone to see? Well, I finally caught up with you and now I'm going to have to wait for your next chapter. This is wonderful!!

Reviewed By: madmiko [MediaMiner Member] On: April 14, 2008 03:06 CDT Comment/Review: I LOVED chapter 5! Inuyasha visiting her on his human night was very significant. But she had been busy trying to put him behind her. I actually loved the small mention that he had held her heart, once. But she believed she never held his. I love the way he is now able to see Kikyou every day and yet everything is falling apart and he doesn't seem to be happy with it or her. And now, Kagome is the one he is going away to see. There's a certain poetic justice and beauty to that. And he told her things we know he never told Kikyou, even if he still doesn't tell Kagome everything. He trusts her with his secret. And he spent the night lying next to her. It was all beautiful. I especially loved his thoughts when she had fainted, -- the way he was so desperate to memorize everything about her in case he never saw her again. He never wants to forget her. This was a fantastic chapter and you really fed my need for some of those tender feelings to come through. I'm still extremely curious about that wind and the "message." I can't wait to see it all revealed!

That should be telling him something about his own feelings. I like the way Kagome is pouring over the words of their fight and coming to some realizations. The shimmer. You've got me sitting on the edge of my seat dying to see what is in the wind. And Inuyasha came to see her.

She brouhgt Kikyou into the group both to help them and to give Inuyasha the chance to see if they could have a future together. I hope he chokes on her graveside dirt. Now, am I thinking of another story, or did the summary mention Kagome being in danger in her time, without Inuyasha to help her? As much as I hate to torment Kagome, I am looking forward to seeing what happens with that. I also really hope Inuyasha realizes that what he had with Kikyou and what he felt for her don't compare to what he has with Kagome. Moving on. ^_^

Reviewed By: madmiko [MediaMiner Member] On: April 14, 2008 02:28 CDT Comment/Review: Just read the first three chapters and you're breaking my heart. *sigh* It's so depressing that Inuyasha is so stupid. He has no appreciation for Kagome whatsoever. Well, since I'm wondering where she is headed on Kirara, I need to read on. ^_^

Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: March 18, 2008 07:22 CDT Comment/Review: i noticed you have revised things so i read the last chapter again to refresh my memory and to reconnect with the characters and situation. the second time around i noticed so much more. the emotions he is experiencing and couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of a reporter exclaiming "OH THE FORESTRY!!" (irreverent reference to the crash of the hindenburg, 1937. if you're offended, sorry). . . the correlation between their feeling cold as if there is no warmth (emotionally?) when they aren't together... one wonders if the 'silver wind' is really malevolent or is it teaching a lesson... AHH!! ~ experiencing eager anticipation, ginny

I stumbled across your story today and I have to say it's one of the most emotional ones I;ve ever seen! That is definetly not a bad thing though...a little bit of angst every once in awhile isn't so bad. I really like how you have developed the chacters, especially Inuyasha. He can be hard to write, and I think you've hit the nail right on the head! I can't wait to see how this all turns out, please update soon! ^__^

Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: January 23, 2008 18:13 CST Comment/Review: goodness, that was the saddest most depressing chapter that i have read in a long while. my heart aches for them all... the master artist elicits strong emotion from those who view their work, in this you have succeeded. i'm sad now and i must find something light, fluffy and funny to counteract this chapter... here's hoping for some character happiness! (do i need to resort to bribery?) ~ thank you, ginny

Reviewed By: jaimed1968 [MediaMiner Member] On: January 23, 2008 10:13 CST Comment/Review: So, Inuyasha has his cake and eating it too, and yet even with Kikyo, he's still not happy. Go figure. Serves him right for being so harsh to Kagome. His heart knows what he wants and yet he is to blind/dense to understand it. I feel for Kagome, not knowing what is going on with her friends, feeling alone without them. Where is Shippo? Who is the man that he sees? What does all this cold have to do with the silver wind? What is Inuyasha and Kagome's connection to the wind? Will he ever go back to her and ask for her to return to the feudal era? Will he comeback to her on the night of the New Moon? Or will his search for Shippo cause him to forget, leaving a hurt and confused Kagome in the modern era wondering what is happening? Will Kikyo ever go to hell and stay there? Thanks for the update, I've greatly enjoyed your story and the questions that it evokes as you leave each chapter. Please feel free to read some of my works as well, if you get the chance. I appreciate your thoughts and musings in regards to them as well. If ever you need a thought or have need of some ideas from the dreaded writer's block, feel free to drop me a line. Thanks again for your update and I eagerly, yet patiently await the next installment of this wonderful story.
