After that sweet moment, HOW can Kich still see Kurt as a bastard? I know how he feels about Sam's imprisonment, but there's two sides to every story, he's gotta see that. Also, Cain's reaction to Kurt's explanation about his family was interesting. I wonder if the hunters got the youkai years ago? Or did he not even know that it happened? I don't want him to start blaming himself again like he did with Sydnie. Cian's too much of a sweetie for that!

Another great chappie, although there was something kind of bothering me. I hope this doesn't come out wrong but InuYasha and Kagome's actions towards Kurt seem a bit werid really. I found it funny that he spied on him to make sure he didn't do anything with his granddaughter, but I thought out of anyone, they'd know better than to treat Kurt as if he were Miroku, after everything with Kikyou I mean. Or am I just reading too far into it? Anyway; great story, it's seems like Kich is never going to forgive Kurt ever is he?

"Precious" poor little Bas... lovely Chapter... (my cat has come up to my beside the computer and is try to eat my food and rubbing himself on the computer table... I wonder what Sydney might do with a male kitty?) has "Iris" or "skinny-bum", or "tandy" started to even try real food yet?

Sydnie and fish, I loved it!!! We have 6 cats and everytime one of my girls bring a fish home it never survives the night, so funny!! I enjoyed all the interaction with the family members in the kitchen and Cain and Gin's fun pastimes.

I really hope that Kurt and Sami tell Cain that they want to keep Stinky-Butt, I don't think they will though. You know...Your stories are the only thing that helps me tolerate my boss at works, since that is where I read them. So thank you very much for that, I really mean it :D!

ok I feel torn like Kichiro and Belle. I feel bad that the little girl doesn't want to stay with the Conors, even though they really want her but I also want her to stay with Kurt and Sami... gosh that's a hard decision! Keep up the good work though! I can't wait for the next installment :D

Wow. Having the little girl sneak out of her room only to run back to Sam and Kurt is sad. At least for the Conors. I was kind of wishing that she'll be ok with that family. I mean she really needs some one who'll care for her but now that this has happened twice? I really do believe that Iris belongs with Sam and Kurt. I think its whats best for her and I do believe that it'll make Sam and Kurt happy. As well as Iris in the long run. Awesome chapter Sue and cant wait for the next one to come out! _ _ U

Perhaps the little girl's needs will finally make kurt realize that being free is not about revenge but putting the happiness of those you love before your needs. Who knows, maybe the hunters had already hunted the killers of his family. Youkai crime unit still asleep on the job.

Well they really do remind me of Cain and Gin. LOL And even though they are together there is always some obstacle you have to beat. Sue do you ever cry will writing this story because its so emotional and heartwarming that I know I ... *sniffles* shed a few.
