Well, you've done it! I have finally cried! Good thing I'm isolated at work too, for that's where I read the chapter. I thought it was so sad, Kichiro playing that song then having Evan join in, next scene Sam is humming that song. Yep, that did it! Lol.

Okay, chapter 23 was a misty-eyed wonder. I just KNEW someone was gonna snap soon and Evan proved me right. Wow, Kagome had me a little choked up for a sec and it's reall, yanno? Those missing people...it becomes so much more real when it's YOU going through. This one really made me stop and think...and sniffle a bit. Great chappie.

Everything Kurt believes in, everything he thinks he knows, everything he has used to sustain his anger is being called into question by Sam just being herself. Wonder how long it will take before he has an epiphany. Very touching moments with Bellaniece and Cain as well as Kich and Evan. Great chapter.

Ahhhh! Her human night is coming again! Please tell me that Sam won't try to kill herself. I cried for the whole second half of the chapter. The piano and Sam being so sad. Man, I really need a P9 chapter...then I won't have to worry about being as sad as Sam right now.

Kurt's got a few things to learn(few??? Try a lot!) he is pretty arrogant isn't he, he hasn't bothered to go and see it what he believes is right or not, and then if he is faced that he is wrong he tries to deny it...

Poor Kurt. So conflicted and confused. His thoughts and the flashbacks make it so easy to see why he believes the way he does, yet his actions towards Sam show there is still compassion and goodness under the layers of pain. The conversation between Sam and her youkai voice was certainly enlightening. It was really great seeing the family dynamic as they cope with despair, while trying to keep hope alive. Wonderful chapter.
