Thanks Amber. Family is hanging in there and you know I use Fanfiction as the escape from reality. :D Now this chapter nearly had me crying towards the end with the talk between Mika and Yasha. Ooo cliffy with her not remembering anyone, now I must see what happens next chapter. Bravo! ~Angela~

Yet another wonderful chapter. Can't wait to see how Mika deals with Kagome next chapter. Things could get rather interesting really quick. :D Bravo, as always!

I don't know what has enabled you to keep churning out chapters so quickly and doing it so well, but I do hope it continues. It was interesting to hear some of Yasha's thoughts about Inuyasha and Kikyou and the way Inuyasha had in truth used Kagome. I'm looking forward to seeing how Kagome takes to being "shrinked" and her reaction to having that soul returned against her will. I wonder if Inuyasha knew about the pain Kagome went through with part of her soul gone; surely someone in the past must have known. Would that have made any difference in how he treated her if he did? Great job thus far!

The writing style is so vivid that i can feel the pain and anger twist in my gut. I can't say i enjoy this is the normal sense because i don't enjoy others pain but i enjoy that the story is so well written and real. I am hooked on it and want to see where it goes. It is a great read but very sad and painful, but life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and i get sick of the seemingly perfect universe of fics where everyone gets over everything and no one is left feeling hurt and angry. Every once in a while i just need something more real and I find that here in this story.

In scenarios like this I always want to ask Inuyahsa, "If you were just going to ruin her life in her own world, take her away from her family and then just outright ditch her, why didn't you just travel with Kikyou?" Inuyasha was always the one to overlook all the evil Kikyou did. She never had to answer for it, she wound up getting everything she wanted at Kagome's expense and now Kagome is left with nothing. Now her family seems to be plotting to put something back inside her that she doesn't want - and rightfully so. I wonder if she'll be able to forgive that. I mean, it's a rather intimate and completely personal violation. Usually I like to see Inuyasha wind up happy because of his craptastic childhood. In this case, you've brought me out of that. I really kind of hope he had a miserable marriage to Kikyou and regretted his decision. I also wonder if his friends would stick around once they found out about the callous dismissal he paid Kagome. He didn't really leave her a choice and it should have been her decision how long she stayed. It also makes me wonder: is Shippou still alive? And if he is, why didn't he warn her that she was going to get tossed aside like trash? Your story has me thinking and I love that. Hope you can update soon!

I agree with Angelica, I don't blame Kagome in the slightest. Inuyasha strung her along with his love for her and then suddenly tells her he's dumping her onto his reincarnation, I would hate him and anything to do with him as well. It's so sad, though... I wish Kag could be with the original Inuyasha like she should be. Who knows, maybe Yasha will get to go back in time and give Inuyasha what-for. xD

People always downplay the toll all of the insults and abandonment Inuyasha inflicted upon Kagome would take on her heart. And in scenarios like this, no one wants to address that Inuyasha basically used Kagome and then told her to leave behind everything and everyone she'd grown to love. She sacrificed her life in her own time to be there and he tosses her out the first chance her gets. It's done in a lot of fics - and totally glossed over. I love that you're diving in. A person can only give so much of themselves before they just have nothing left. It opens up so many questions: does this family really think that incarnations are all the same as each other? "Kagome is Kagome - but not really…" And I'd personally love to see what Yasha has to say/do to Inuyasha for using her up. I feel for him because like Kagome, he's having to suffer his past's mistakes. You've done an excellent job of making him his own person, but at the same time retaining the memories of his past self. I'm interested to see where you take this; I really hope that you continue and update quickly.
