Oh snap! Okay, a few questions answered. Since nightwalkers are some kind of demon or another it makes perfect sense that they're originally from some other kind of hell-like "gothic painting" dimension, and then they traveled into the human world. Probably, back in ancient times, they originally made the move for food purposes, realizing humans were a wonderful meal source. Wonder when they learned that humans could be turned into nightwalkers? Ah well, we don't really need that in-depth of a nightwalker history lesson, at least right now. The more important thing is WHAT did Nerek just do?! I mean, I think I know what he just did, but...damn! I remember very distinctly that nightwalker blood is poisonous to other nightwalkers except that mates can safely drink from each other, so I'd have to go back into the first story and reread up on what, exactly, is involved with becoming a mate to refresh my memory on whether or not Nerek has already officially initiated the mating process, but even if he just straight up poisoned Lilliana the only antidote is becoming his mate. I wonder if she'd rather just die, though. Too bad she probably doesn't have a say in the matter. And apparently Kagome didn't sense Inuyasha's lust for her since from what she said it's clear she was under the impression he'd just been attacking her, rather than 'attacking' her, although I can most certainly understand Inuyasha's reaction, and his relief that she stopped him from raping her. Too bad she doesn't realize what's going through his head, and that his inner turmoil no longer has anything to do with their previous argument or his anger at her. And I was not expecting you to up and give him the dog ears! LOL. I must admit that made for some cute comedy relief, but it begs the question, why on Earth did you do that? I wouldn't imagine you'd do something so frivolous on a whim, though, without already having thought of a way for it to make perfect sense, so I'll trust your judgement on that one. Maybe, because he's a natural born, maybe he's reverting into some kind of a demon-y being if, say, they didn't originally used to be 100% human-looking? It supports the theory of his inner demon 'waking up' and talking to him in his head, if he's turning more demony all the way around. And now with the bleeding eyes we know why that other guy realized Kagome had once been human right out the gate, and thanks to Nerek we know it's a pressure change issue, and something he apparently got used to since he's been there for three years in that timeline. And what a trickster, since Lucy didn't tell him when to kill them. Of course, he's going to make it sound like he's some special evil bad guy even more evil than Lucy and use her slip of the tongue to his advantage so that he can torture them to his heart's content, assuring them that he'll get around to killing them eventually, but I think deep down inside even though he does have his own agenda killing them is probably not a part of it, and he's postponing on purpose to secretly save their lives. Can't really say if he's that much of a good guy deep down inside, or if he's just trying to look out for himself and it benefits him if they live, but so long as it keeps them alive I don't really care! LOL. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next. Oh man, yes I am. :-)

Bum Bum BUM ~ Oh, the suspense! I guess Lucy figures they're a lost cause, so better to kill them than to risk that during their own independent search for a way back into our dimension they accidentally leave the door open and that word leaks into our world. I suppose that makes sense, in a 'the good of the many outweighs the good of the few' kind of way, even though a true friend would still try to save them no matter what. Nobody ever accused Lucy of being somebody you could trust, LOL. Interesting to learn that that's where Nerek disappeared to, and that one day in our world is one year in that world? Then I guess for people who know what they're doing, they can pop into that world and fiddle around, and then pop back and nobody even knows they were gone. Sounds like Inuyasha and Kagome are in for a hell of a ride, though, and what happened to Lilliana? We know she wasn't eaten by one of those worm things, if for no other reason than you as an author would never do that, so then that leaves the choices that she's still in the raging lake but will climb her own way to shore somewhere like Inuyasha did, or somebody else found and 'rescued' her. And is she who this mysterious person who was obviously not Nerek thought Kagome was, or did he think Kagome was somebody else entirely? And who is he? He's obviously a natural born, since he could tell that Kagome was a turned human, but it looks like this is a secret club even some natural borns don't know about. I hope Inuyasha gets a move on before a giant spider gets him! Well obviously you won't be killing him off, not him, and not Kagome, so I'm not worried about that, but still! Like I said; Bum Bum BUM! LOL - Looking forward to the next update!

Whoa...intense. Did they actually just fall into hell, or was it all in their minds? Sounds like the bottom of the house actually dropped out underneath them at the end there. Super cool! Obviously something's going on, since Inuyasha started to hear and feel the same thing as Lilliana. Loved her argument with Kagome, and the whole scene in general of them ransacking the library. Not trying to be discreet, are they? LOL. I'd be taking one book, skimming it and putting it back, then taking the next one, and so on, so as not to make it totally obvious that I've been going through every book. Then again I imagine Lilliana just didn't care who knew she'd been going through the books. I can see both of their points of view, too, where the argument was concerned. I can get why Kagome's still so upset, but on the other hand, what's done is done so may as well at least try to put it behind you and move on. And Inuyasha's right, too; he did give up a few of his own freedoms. Not sure how much taking her as his mate was really a sacrifice on his part since even by his own admission he was willing to die to 'free' her, and she's the one who agreed to become his mate to save his life, but even so, even before then, he'd put himself into the position of protecting Kagome at every cost, yes because he was the one who'd endangered her in the first place but he didn't just not care and let her die, now did he? True, he was addicted to her at the time and needed her alive to keep himself alive, but I know it wasn't just for that reason, and being her mate now, for better or worse, he at least wants to try and make it work, and had given her those ten years because she'd wanted them, trying to do whatever he could to make up for what a prick he'd previously been. He knows he's the ass hole that destroyed her life; let the guy apologize and make up for it, already. I think so long as they both come out of this new war alive then their relationship will eventually recover; now if they can just resist killing each other long enough to stay alive and fight their enemies, LOL. Looking forward to the next update!

Hey you! This review isn't going to be quite as long-winded, sorry, LOL, but I'm still loving this story just as much as ever. Yes, there were a few typos and such that you should go back and fix, but they didn't bother me. I really liked that scene at the end with all of them. Way to juggle multiple players. Go you! Not surprised Inu/Kag are in the 'glaring and not speaking to each other' stage; might take a while for them to be civil to one another. Am definitely looking forward to watching their relationship heal and grow, though, amidst the chaos of this new war you've created, of course. Lovely new puzzle pieces you've tossed us with Lucy's ramblings, LOL. Keep up the awesome work!

First of all, no worries on the f-ed up formatting. We all know it's MM's fault and not yours, and I was able to read it just fine. Your tease at the beginning a/n, you really gave me a sense of foreboding there, LOL, but while Inu/Kag's fight ended up getting crazy I think it was also understandable, under the circumstances. I think they both make valid points, although I totally agree with Inuyasha that Kagome should have told him about Lucy all those years ago. That said, I can understand her thinking on the matter, and why she chose not to. I don't agree, but I understand why she did it. And typical woman to bring up what happened ten years ago into the argument, LOL, even though Inuyasha had promised to try and change and start over with a clean slate. But that being said, it was a really royally f-ed up thing that happened to Kagome ten years ago, her entire life being ripped away from her and changed irreparably and all the times she was nearly killed while being left in the dark and all that. Not so sure I'd be totally over it ten years later, either. Especially since after all the craziness with the war was over an done with she went and played make believe with her human family and friends for a decade. How are they really supposed to work things out between them, she and Inuyasha, if they are hardly ever even seeing each other in all that time? So really, even though it was ten years ago, it's not like a normal couple who's been married for ten years, because the two of them haven't been together as a couple in all that time, and I think therein lies the real problem. Inuyasha to her, sure he was her mate, but that was a thing that just happened during all the craziness and originally he was her kidnapper. So here she is getting kidnapped by a demon who's addicted to her blood, and then to save his life and hers she has to become his mate, and they hardly had romantic feelings for each other, both feeling like they were stuck in that situation against their will, and then after all the crazy 'we've got to put our differences aside and work together so that we don't die' bloodshed is over with she goes back home, only seeing Inu every once in a while for a booty call. How the hell are they supposed to be better now, when it was like they were put on pause for those ten years? I think now, finally, now, assuming Inuyasha can ever stand to look at her again, this will finally be the beginning of them healing. Not that everything's going to suddenly be roses tomorrow, or next week, or even a year from now, but they do have another war on their hands and they do have to work together to survive, and they are both trapped in Lucy's house and can't go anywhere, LOL, so I'm sure after they both calm down they can at least put their relationship troubles on pause again to figure out what the hell to do about the slaves. So yes, I DID love this chapter, and I AM looking forward to the next chapter! =)

I've been following your story for a long time. I couldn't review since I'm shy. Anyway, I love the story. I love nightwalker and I really love how things are going in the story. I'm glad to see Inuyasha and Kagome be together at last! I can't wait to see how Kagome'll explain herself to Inuyasha. I could only bet how Inuyasha'll respond to being confined~ I do hope to see your next post soon. I love your writing. I find the way you write interesting. I've noticed some subtle mistakes but I could easily see it doesn't interfere with the story. Do continue.

I'm at a loss for words. I found your Nightwalker story just yesterday and read that and all of your chapters in this story since then. I can honestly say your stories are some of the best fanfiction I have EVER read. your characters, the plot, everything in the story is so refreshing to me. I loved all of your original characters. Please, please, please keep it up. I can't wait to see what happens. Question: will this story be as long or longer then the previous? Off to read your other stories! Can't wait for the next update!!!!

Yay! Awesome update! I don't know what issues other people had with the last chapter, 'cause I loved that one too, but I really, really liked this one. So Tsubaki is behind this, eh? That was awesome! Not that you made the mastermind Tsubaki, doesn't really matter to me who's making and controlling the slaves, but yay for finally revealing who it is! I knew Narek had abandoned Kagome as part of his own dirty little plan, whatever that plan was, and even though it's clear now that he doesn't give two shits about Inuyasha if I were Kagome I would've taken that deal in a heartbeat, too. Anything to save Inuyasha's life. Narek obviously only saw it as another opportunity to ultimately get what he wants, because now Kagome 'owes' him one, but whatever. Worry about that later. The more pressing issue, I agree, is going to be how Kagome explains everything to Inuyasha, but Lilliana's reaction is encouraging. They all have secrets, after all, and Kagome had a valid point, maybe Inuyasha would have recanted on allowing her to live free and be with her human family for those ten years had he known about Lucy's visits. We'll never know for sure, of course, but I'm sure now that even though yes Inuyasha will be a little hurt to learn that she had been keeping that from him - hell, he'll probably be furious and explode with a moment of 'What the hell!' - but even so, I'm sure he'll forgive her and ultimately just be so grateful that she's still alive that nothing else matters. Ultimately Lucy kidnapped Kagome to keep her alive, so Inuyasha can't totally begrudge her that desire, now can he? SUPER looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Finally had a chance to read this! I saw you updated and made mental note but real life and all that...but awesome update! Loved Lilliana's plan; I'd say it worked after all. Maybe Narek disappeared on purpose 'cause he could tell Inuyasha was nearby and was actually hoping Kagome would flee and meet him? Never can tell with Narek, but one thing I do know is he's got his own agenda. But who is this other woman that just showed up? Is she working for/with Narek? Did she do something bad to Narek, like he's hurt somewhere? Though granted, that one doesn't seem too likely. Either way, that was quite the interesting twist. If I were Kagome I might've tried to maybe insist on using the bathroom or something and then ask a lady inside if I could borrow her phone, but then what to say, right? And what will Kagome say to Inuyasha now that she's back in his arms? Of course, she doesn't have to worry about that just yet now that there's suddenly this new woman who's clearly an enemy in one capacity or another. Hopefully Inuyasha and Kagome are able to stay together and Narek doesn't show back up to whisk Kagome away again while Inuyasha's distracted fighting off this new chick. Well WHATEVER you do I know I'll love it, so update again as soon as you can! :-)
