Who needs stinking ol' answers, anyway? LOL. Okay, so you didn't explain a few things, but that's all right. I'm just glad you got back to it and finished the story out, so that you didn't leave it hanging like sooooooooooooo many authors tend to do. I actually loved the ending, finishing out that sex scene and then the cute little flash of epilogue to let us know that they're definitely together as Mates now and still going about their business being divorce attorneys. Oh ho, I have seen stories in the past where the mating bond would turn Kagome hanyou, but I hadn't known that was where you were planning on going with this story. Do you think maybe it's because she drained herself of all her miko power with that little stunt, and her own youkai side will be suppressed again once she regains her reiki, or was this just a coincidence and she'll now go through life as a 'hanyou miko' and there had just been a delayed reaction in her transformation 'cause it took a while for his blood and mark to do its thing? Either way is fine with me, so long as she hasn't lost her ability to purify the jewel because that would screw over the universe, LOL, but I suppose this answers the puzzlement as to why she was his mate even though she's human and everyone else had said that demons can't have human mates. Human fuck buddies, sure, just not 'Mates' with the capital M. If a human can't be a Mate, but yet one is, then her no longer being human seems like the best way to solve the problem, LOL. Yay! I'm so glad you updated, and I'm so glad that you had Inuyasha decided to just up and mark her as the ultimate proof of them being destined Mates. She did indeed survive the marking, and as predicted she was pissed but also reluctantly accepted that she'd been wrong and they are mates. I wasn't expecting that curve ball at the end there, though. Hopefully she's still got her miko powers, otherwise everyone'll be in big trouble. Yay! So glad you updated! I was figuring this was going to be an 'afterglow' chapter that might or might not include a more serious argument about whether or not they're mates. Glad to see this was merely 'part two' of them getting it on! So marking someone as a mate, if they're not your mate, will kill them? Then her being alive really will seal the deal, won't it? On the one hand she'll be pissed he marked her without her consent, but on the other hand if they are 'destined' to be mates and meant to be together and all that then she would've had no business refusing him to begin with. You can't argue against fate! She could, though, 'punish' him for acting against her will by cutting him off...supposing she could hold out without it being too much punishment for herself! I was reading the elevator scene and it was so incredibly hot!! And then I was like, holy fuck there's another chapter!! GEEZ! Well it sounds like the two of them are really realizing they are mates...maybe? Which I think is great. I was afraid they were going to do it and at the end Inuyasha pulls out and says, "Huh I guess you're not my mate after all. See ya! Thanks for the fuck!" Woo-hoo! I've been busy for the last few days which is why I haven't reviewed for six chapters but DAMN, what a way to get caught up! So is it because she's a miko, or even because she's the miko in charge of the jewel and her spiritual power is sort of connected to the youki in the jewel in some way that makes her eligible to be Inuyasha's one true mate? She certainly has got to be his mate, because they are way too horny for each other without some kind of mating drive being involved, LOL. I could see it being a magical thing that miko and houshi can do with demons and then that would explain why nobody knows, because what miko would want to mate a demon, right? But whatever finalized ideas you have up your sleeve to explain it away I don't care! These last few chapters were awesome and that last one especially was hot!
