I've been reading your story in my freetime over the past week. I must say; this story is very impressive. I've never read a "alternate universe" type story such as this and actually enjoyed it. I've enjoyed ever chapter so far. Looking forward to the future chapters. Thanks for making such a great story!

you did it again, another wonderful chapter! I must say I've always, always loved the idea of trunks staying behind. I often think of if Trunks' middle name(if he had one) would be used for his baby self. I've seen people rename one or the other 'Boxer', a name I use for Bulma's father, and others Toranksu(or something very similar). The Toranksu is suppose to be 'saiyajin' pronunciation in some fics. I, myself, would love his middle name to be Vegeta so they could call the baby 'Geta or something like that. Or TJ(Trunks Junior) Or Chibi Trunks(TC or CT) Maybe even just call him TB(Trunks Briefs!) Ohhh I can't wait to find out what you come up with on that one! BTW Ranma 1/2 characters in this fic=awesome...I can't wait to see if Shampoo shows up...most likely with Ranma there... Huh. With her hair she could be like Bulma's distant relative...

I love the this fanfic, I look forward to tuesdays and saturdays just because I know you will be posting a new chapter lol....I have only come across a few other fanfic that have kept my attention as much as your has. You have an amazing way of helping form what is happening in the story in my mind. Can't wait for the next chapter!!

Well, now I'm REALLY glad I wrote that review. You stopped updating on your own site in.... was it 2003? I actually printed the whole story out and it is still lying next to my bed, waiting to be completed. The last page I printed was from 2003. For the last few years (I know, sounds dramatic, doesn't it ;-P) I looked everywhere on the Internet just to see if you continued updating somewhere else. I couldn't find the story again, at least not with some new chapters. But, for some reason, I decided to search for A light in the Darkness on Mediaminer, wrote the review and you made me very happy again! The main reason I like the story is because it has depth, the characters make sense. They are developing. In a lot of stories characters stay the same. For example, Yamcha somehow always is the jealous, annoying ex. He's not my favourite DBZ character but I like the way he turned out in your story. Same for Goku. ok its about time i reviewed. I've been keeping up with this story since oh, about five updates or so ago. amazingly well done, love it. I am VERY happy with this so far, minus the vegeta dying thing at the end of this chapter. *shakes you* if veggie doesnt return i'ma have to spork your eyes out and feed them to m'dawgs. now that thats out of my system, I keep a window up with this story so i can reload it daily to see if you've updated! lol so do so again! soon!
