I ran back into this story completely by accident and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you are finishing posting it here on media miner. I remember starting to read this years ago and then fandom just dying slowly and so many fics were never finished. I am glad that you took the chance to just finish posting. I find that now, I enjoy the epic fics even more now that the fandom isn't as large anymore. That said, to the story. You can see the definate change in maturity on the story as the years past. Actually the point that it makes the most difference is actually the sex scenes. There was a shift in the quality of language and sensuality that freshened it up. As you know since there wre a lot of sex scenes in a fic this long, they can drag, but I was happy to see that the later chapters didn't drag. I agree with a lot of your observations about Bulma and Vegeta's relationship in canon, but as this is an AU with a bonding plot, it is different here. I was able to see the Ranma/Ryouga twin coming from the moment Ryouga showed up and I actually have probably never watched an episode of Ranma 1/2. But I saw what you were trying to do, expanding the cast of the saiyans. I did miss the inclusion of Chi Chi and Goku into the story as time went on. To tell the truth your investigation into them in the earlier chapters is what drew me to the fic years ago. I guess because you don't seems to like her character anyway that she would be left by the wayside (kind of like what happens with Goku and her), but I always found the relationship between them to be interesting. I was even looking forward to Bulma saying something or maybe a change in Chi Chi, but since she wasn't really a focus in the story, I guess there wasn't much of an impetus for character growth on her part. I am looking forward to finally seeing the end that I've wondered about for many years come to fruition.

I love this fanfic! It's beautifully written and everything I love about a B&V romance plus everything I wouldn't have expected. I'm glad Trunks is still in this. He's such a sweetheart and he seems to have had an even crazier life in this AU! I can't wait for your next chapter! I wanna see Vegeta put Kabu in her place about Bulma! Keep up the good work! I love it!

I loved the last chapter! Vegeta killing Frieza and all.....just like I wanted. So I guess Vegeta has the right to call himself king now? Oh, and before I forget. I was the one who posted the link on your old site under the reviews. I always checked your old site, hoping that you started updating again. So I just figured other people might do that too. I hope you don't mind. There are a lot of people who wanted to finish reading the story, just read the reviews ;-D.

I started reading this story on another site and was so disappointed when it just left off at chapter 79. Thank goodness someone posted where I could find it under the reviews. This is one of my absolute favorite fanfics! I can't wait to read the end.

Poor Trunks! Hearing his parents while he is trying to sleep. You must be evil! ;-P Only twelve more chapters to go. I'm wondering how this story is going to end. I hope Vegeta kicks Frieza's ass! He deserves to have a little fun. (Vegeta I mean, not Frieza) Keep up the good work!

I've been reading your story in my freetime over the past week. I must say; this story is very impressive. I've never read a "alternate universe" type story such as this and actually enjoyed it. you did it again, another wonderful chapter! I must say I've always, always loved the idea of trunks staying behind. I often think of if Trunks' middle name(if he had one) would be used for his baby self. I've seen people rename one or the other 'Boxer', a name I use for Bulma's father, and others Toranksu(or something very similar). The Toranksu is suppose to be 'saiyajin' pronunciation in some fics. I, myself, would love his middle name to be Vegeta so they could call the baby 'Geta or something like that. Or TJ(Trunks Junior) Or Chibi Trunks(TC or CT) Maybe even just call him TB(Trunks Briefs!) Ohhh I can't wait to find out what you come up with on that one! BTW Ranma 1/2 characters in this fic=awesome...I can't wait to see if Shampoo shows up...most likely with Ranma there... Huh. With her hair she could be like Bulma's distant relative...
