This is wonderfully creepy. You have the psychological angles covered. Tooru's behavior is typical of someone in an abusive relationship and you've managed to blend characteristics of the alpha pack male perfectly with Shigure. I have to say, the romantic in me does not want her to end up with Shigure but I don't think that Tooru is strong enough to break free on her own. But anyway, pleas update! |

a truely, truely great fic. everyones fairly canon, and the plots great. i love the way u describe what the characters feeling. no lemon in this chapter, but it was still increadable. i was so happy when i was u updated!!! very very very very well written. all of it, lemon or not. easily my fav straight fic right now, plus it gets updated more often then my other fav. (especially considering the length of the chapters) have u thought about sending something to get published? u have a wonderful style or writting. man, if only i could write like that... ur awesome. keeeeeeeep goin!

Good job. I liked how the characters are written and how the relationships are coming along. Though Shigure's character sure needs a bit of growing up but then he wouldn't be Shigure. |

Very very dark, erotic lemon fic..and very well written. I'm not sure if I would call Tooru and Shigure's relationship as love but bordering more on obsession. Kinda like "Endless Love".
As for Shigure, very believable & credible (since I knew someone very much like him, even the same age gap!) His deep insecurity is SO real!
As for Tooru, I'd like to see her character develop more strongly without going OOC.

Merrow, you MUST continue! Shigure is definitely a sexy complicated bastard, and you've captured him beautifully. The chemistry between Shigure and Tooru is written convincingly, but I am wondering if you'd write a longer Tooru monologue to fill in how her feelings formed so strongly for Shigure from the first Belated Gift story to Belated Gift 2. That would definitely fill in the gap for me!
Chapter 5 was very dark and psychologically twisted. Personally it was a bit difficult for me to see Tooru abused so, but I am curious to see what plans you have for this. Of course, this doesn't mean that it wasn't exciting as hell. You definitely are the Gureru writer of choice for me (hint: I hope you do more :) |

this fic is so psychological it makes my head hurts sometimes. to turn an innocent anime such as furuba into something so angst and make it so believable at the same time... i dunno whether to cry or applause. but i've 2 say that it waz very enjoyable reading ur fic (hehe...) so pleaz continue soon! |

I really enjoy this fic - I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love the fact that you are one of the few authors who writes LONG chapters! I know that this fic is listed under 'angst', but could you pretty please make it a little less 'angsty' and add a little more romance? Shigure is one of my fav. characters and it's a little disturbing to see how he treats Tohru sometimes...just a suggestion (you can ignore it if it doesn't fit the direction that you wish this fic to take!) Keep up the excellent work!! |

Oh and jus so u know u put as a brutal SOB but it's great! it adds excitement to the stories. I must have cursed out a million spanish curse words when i read he called Tohru a B*tch....*fists tighten wit anger*...me and friends felt like killing him...I swear if i was tohru and i was gagged and tied like that....when he removes the gag....i would chewed his dick off!!!!!! I'd make him scream "bloody murder"!!!muahahahahahahaaaaa!.....but other than that...i loved it! |

HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS FANFIC!!!!!! I've never been so turned on by Shigure's character...(had a few freaky dreams the other dream with him)...It's kinda brutal the way he treats her....but I LIKE IT!!!! He's so...so...demanding...i want a guy like him...i expected this style maybe from black hastuharu (which u should make a story on)...it'd be verrry interesting...i love em all |

u are by far the best straight lemon writter i have ever seen. ur lemons are incredable, and ur plot is awesome. amazing how u can tie them so nicely together. i think this might be the best lemon ive read, mabey. the characters are suprizingly in character,and goes decently with the real plot. the only this that in 'meh' about is the kyo/uo and yuki/hana thing... hehe. personally id rather see kyo and yuki... hehehehehehe. but anywayz, u have increadable talent with this stuff, the lemons, the plot, the characters, all amazing. it goes from kinky, to fluffy, its never just one type of fic, i love that. is akito acctually going to come in? kimagure is kool, too. im not acctually a tooru/shigure fan, but this is the best lemon series ive seen in a loooooooong time. |

I've been meaning to review this for a _long_ time and just got around to it now. All I can really say is "Wow." This fic is so absolutely wonderful. The dymanics you have created between Shigure and Touru are amazing. You have Shigure's character down... however aggravating that might be. The boy is digging his own grave *sigh* But anyway, your style is beautiful and I can hardly wait for the next chapter! |
