Here's the review I promised you.
I'm bad at finding bad grammar, cause I usually read over it without noticing. I can't remember any, by the way.
Your style of writing was rather simple without fancy words, easy to read, and very fitting for the story. Two things I noticed, a) the almost-rape (or whatever?) scene in chapter seven could have used a bit more character insight; and b) in chapter 10 you could have inserted an additional Enter where you jump from Kagome to IY and Shippou. b) is just nitpicky, the 9 is mostly from a) (I admit that this kinda thing is likely not easy to write).
I think Originality would deserve a 10+. I've never read a lemon like this one (well, I don't read many ;)). First, Inuyasha almost taking her by force to scare other guys away. Then, it was written really well that they are both inexperienced. Their discussion in chap 8 was very good.
The quarrel about the place - bed or floor - was another thing I've never read before. I think Inuyasha had a bit too much self-control in the end of chap 9, but well, there weren't any condoms for him... ;)
The last chapter was a good conclusion (out of the window, LOL) for both Kag and IY.
Anyway, very good story. I'm sure I'll try some other of your stories too, I like your style of writing (this thing is also always personal preference). So the overall rating is a ten, too. :)

I wonder if Inuyasha knows that even if he'd done what he wanted to do, it wouldn't have been recieved by other men in quite that manner. I mean, he seems to think that if he sleeps with Kagome, other guys will back off. In the modern era, though, fewer men expect virginity, so even an old-fashioned guy like Hojo might not--

Well, I started reading, and just couldn't stop. I loved so many things about this story and it was mostly due to the fact that you paint a very clear picture of what could realistically happen. The characters were kept true, the dialogue all fit completely and the humor wasn't overdone. I had set out today to find some reading that was worthwhile, and I most definitely found it with this story. Very enjoyable! I thank you for sharing this with us, because it certainly means a lot that you put time into the story. And it shows! |
