o.O XD!! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!! I'm actually learning Shinto Religion instead of simply sitting on my ass reading lemon fanfiction! What a change, what a change!! Thanks a bunch!! Update as soon as you can, okay? Sango and Miroku lemons are good... But I like Inu-kun and Kagome-sama lemons MUCH better! I've read what you've posted so far to FFnet, and MM. I've even commented on your Kyoto story. ^_^
I'm impressed at the effort your putting into your
research. Certainly, the Inuyasha manga and anime
are restrained in their authenticity of the times, so I like fanfics that intergrate cultural oddities and realities of life of the time, like you have with this festival fic. Two major points- writer comments really break up the flow of a story, especially where the flow of the story is so crucial as with Kagome's dance. You need to draw the reader into a sort of trance, just as Kagome is. Whenever possible, try to work any explanations into the story dialouges, or descriptive passages. All the good fanfic writers that I've read, and their commentary on the stories of others, will repeat that over and over.
The second point, I think Sango reacts a bit too much like Kagome. Certainly, her village was quite isolated, and it's own festivals might have been quite risque, especially considering the sort of dangerous life the menfolk led, and how important keeping the birthrate up to secure the new generations of Youkai Taijya would been(i.e., need to put on a _good_ show to ensure the fecundity of the village). My suggestion would be that Sango might have been reluctant, but not really against it- she could even have a hand in convincing Kagome- her objections would be centered more on the fact that Miroku would be her partner. ^_^ |

I confess that I canīt imagine the all village going to it together, at same time...but...itīs a festival right???i donīt understande the real mean of it.
I like your story. I like the way kagome is acting and specually Inuyasha...I donīt care if it is a little OCC this is GOOD. real GOOD.

intresting isent it how spring festavals in anchent cultures around the world all thend to revolve around firtility - and are by moderen standards very very riskae (sp?) Its reminding me a bit of Beltaine. they say lots of little ones were born about 9 months later. |

LMAO!! I can't believe you're gonna make them act out that myth!!^____^ I couldn't stop laughing...are you really gonna make them strip out of their clothes to do this dance?? Sango will die seeing Miroko acting as Izanagi. ^.~ But that myth was actually very sad, but if Izanagi hadn't have purified himself in the water, he wouldn't have made me, Isukiyomi, the moon, queen of the night!! ;_; lol, and Kagome..poor poor Kagome, she has to dance!! XD NAKED!! hahaha, Inuyasha will have a freakin heart attack! (or atleast "Little Inuyasha" will lmao ^___^)
