Yikes, angsty! Poor Heero. Talk about a revelation too late being worse than none! That must be a punch in the gut. On a side-note: 'Soldiers are not meant to survive the war' is a classic war-time Yuy-ism, and would certainly have blown poor war-time Duo out of the water. It's not easy to follow that one-liner up with 'cool, so, want to shack up when the war's over?' even if Heero hadn't walked away..So now, we need to find out what happened to Duo. Next chapter soon!

It just gets curiouser and curiouser...And what did that bitch Hilde do to poor Duo? I hope you update this story soon and if you can't do that then a healthy dose of Princes and Soldiers Series will suffice. Ya know? I think I've fallen in love with your stories...^_^

'"I think that I can be more... intimidating," Heero replied.' Really? You sure? Lol. I can't wait for that phone call. This is a great story. Each chapter you give us a small part of the puzzle, and we see Duo's 'personality' unfold, but you always keep a little back making us eager to read the next chapter! Keep it up! I also like the way we're slowly discovering Heero's emotions, much as he's slowly admitting to them himself, after he repressed them during the war. It makes it much more touching and believable than if you'd had him pinning over Duo this whole time, which, for an ordered and cold character like Heero, would hardly be believable. In conclusion; can't wait for next chapter! What's the dog got to do with all of this...

Get to the bottom of this? Oh good. Now why did Duo go to Hilde and not Quatre. He did have a mental breakdown listening to Hilde hector him...I don't know, sounds potentially fishy either way. It's really becoming gripping. Your description of a veteran Heero was spot on. WHoever is messing with Duo better not try to pull a fast one on his ex-partner (yeah, as if that's all he is, right, Heero, go on fooling yourself). Update soon please!

I liked Quatre's phone call, the way he sees right through Heero but doesn't call him out, merely offers support and suggestions without seeming to and then leaves Heero to figure it out. So Duo is still capable of flashes of lucidity. Sounds like something pretty bad happened when he went to walk the dog though. Can't wait for next chapter! (Oh, and it's tensile strength, tinsel is the sort of stuff you hang on christmas trees :D )

Great new chapter. Once more, Heero is very IC, even through the utterly bewildering (and somehow amusing) situation of having a dirty, mentally disturbed killer napping under his desk. I liked Heero's warning to the gang; it wasn't boasting either. And the way he approached his own appartement like a 'safehouse' was amusing but also eery; how much did Heero think the same way when he aquired it? Anyway, definitely getting hooked, hope to see this continued!
