What a heartbreaking chapter. I figured something horrible had happened to the dog and Duo had seen it. I felt bad for 'hating' Hilde now that I found out she had to deal with Heero's third degree after shouldering all of Duo's care on her own for so long. Once Heero explained how much time had passed, Duo seemed fairly lucid. I just sobbed when he tried to explain his feelings; how he could never hate Heero. ""You have always been right here." He touched his chest." Wwwaaaaaaahhhhhh! That's not insanity! And you gotta love Heero's determination to stick by Duo no matter what now that he knows about the damage that the "accidental" drug has caused. Note to self: pick up more Kleenex tomorrow.

Poor Hilde, must have been scared to death! Hmf, I'm divided. Part of me thinks there's still a conspiracy out there...the other thinks it would be different and an interesting direction for the story to have been no conspiracy, nothing but an accident and people doing their best. It happens. At least Heero's now fully confronted his feelings and is willing to pursue them. Can't wait to see where this goes now.

I love this story and it is a good story .I wish I had time to write more but I have to go sit with my daughter Jillian ..She is sick and I just took a break to check my mail ..So thanks for the update and please update again soon...

Wow, this chapter really took off fast. You defused some of the tension, but added new. Poor Heero, but you seem to give us some hope. Look forward to new chapters!

Yikes, angsty! Poor Heero. Talk about a revelation too late being worse than none! That must be a punch in the gut. On a side-note: 'Soldiers are not meant to survive the war' is a classic war-time Yuy-ism, and would certainly have blown poor war-time Duo out of the water. It's not easy to follow that one-liner up with 'cool, so, want to shack up when the war's over?' even if Heero hadn't walked away..So now, we need to find out what happened to Duo. Next chapter soon!

It just gets curiouser and curiouser...And what did that bitch Hilde do to poor Duo? I hope you update this story soon and if you can't do that then a healthy dose of Princes and Soldiers Series will suffice. Ya know? I think I've fallen in love with your stories...^_^

'"I think that I can be more... intimidating," Heero replied.' Really? You sure? Lol. I can't wait for that phone call. This is a great story. Each chapter you give us a small part of the puzzle, and we see Duo's 'personality' unfold, but you always keep a little back making us eager to read the next chapter! Keep it up! I also like the way we're slowly discovering Heero's emotions, much as he's slowly admitting to them himself, after he repressed them during the war. It makes it much more touching and believable than if you'd had him pinning over Duo this whole time, which, for an ordered and cold character like Heero, would hardly be believable. In conclusion; can't wait for next chapter! What's the dog got to do with all of this...
