this has to be the most gut-wrenching, yet beautiful story i have yet to read. there was no happy ending, there was no great romance, but the tradgedy and true human emotion conveyed was enough for me. there were a couple times that i almost stopped reading this fic because i found it to be too cruel. but i couldn't stop. i would have liked to have seen a happy resolution, but i knew there couldn't be one. you offered such ingenius foreshadowing, that i had to finish reading this story simply out of morbid curiosity. well done. i've not had any fan fic put my heart in such a vice grip as you have just done. i only hope your next story will be happier. i don't think i could take reading another one like this.

Okay, I like the occasional dark, angsty fic. This was very well written. But, you are killing me! That's it? What the hell happened! What happened to InuYasha? Still, I liked it. That's pretty mean, ending it like that and making me wonder for the rest of my life. Forgive me, it's late.

Congratulations! I'm sure you are aware of how many stories remain unfinished in the fanfiction world. It takes commitment to wrap it up. -- How sad for Kagome. I find that your epilogue leaves Kagome with confusion and no closure. Not surprising as the whole story was in her point of view. If she doesn't see or hear what happened, she can only speculate...along with the reader. A rather tragic ending but a well done one. It's fitting that she is left with only questions when there is no one to answer them. It will be difficult to step back into the modern world where she belongs after her mad adventure in the past...but she's alive. Also, its a leave-you-hanging-and-wanting-more kind of ending, very much like Japanese tales have a tendency to do. Raised as we are, we desire a happy ending, but that's not realistic. The good guys don't always win and the hero doesn't ride off into the sunset. Sometimes the hero is gruff and fallable, just barely able to correct his mistakes and, hopefully, make sure that at least that one special person will make it through. This may not be the conclusion that Inu/Kag fans want, but its one of many possiblities. Very brave of you to consider the "not-so-happy ending" and risk many flamage on the fanficion boards from unthinking reviewers. -- Again, Congratulations!

Awwwww...how sad...He wasn't even sad to see her go...or die...or live... I don't really know what happened there. But overall, I was very happy with that story, despite the fact that it had such a sad ending. I really liked the metaphor you used in the epilouge, very nice. Anywho, I'll stop rmabling, I got out what I wanted to say. Good work.

You are cruel! You leave it so we have no idea what happened. We have no idea what Inuyasha did to incite that. We have no idea how she escaped death or the fate of the jewel or Inuyasha. I guess it was inevitable that she was be separated from him. They live in two different times after all.

...It's done? The summary says that the story is complete...I don't mean to be mean, really, but where's the closure? He attacked Hiroshi-Sama, and that's the end? You kinda left it on a cliffy... On a better, not as whiney note, The story was definatley very good. I liked it alot...but I still say no closure... So..yes...I liked the story. Very good.

wow, that was good! sad but good. i can't say i'm happy about the ending, though well written, and fitting, i find myself longing for an alternate. slightly more happy ending, maybe, pehaps one day you would provide one, because i am sure i am not alone in this wish! wonderful job ja PE

WOW..... I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU FINISHED THE STORY I DIDN'T GET AND UPDAT :(. OTHER THAN THE EPILOUGE KINDA CONFUSED ME I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS STORY YOU TOOK IT TO A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE AND I CAN ONLY RESPECT THE CREATIVITY THAT CAME FROM IT. GAH! My theory is that Inuyasha attacked Hiroshi-sama because Kagome was alone with him. Didn't miroku say earlier to Kagome that woman could not be a alone with another man, or else Her 'husband' could kill him, and her? *gasp* He's not going to kill kagome now, is he? I have to go back and re-read the entire story now, You've done so many reversions of it. How many times have you re-done the last chapter? I know I'm sound whiney now, I really don't mean to, I know how annoying that can be, But please, Please, get the nest chapter out soon! Only two left, I'm so saddened, yet awaiting the ending. Thankyou for making such a tear jerking, emotional story.

InuYasha attacked Hiroshi? Why? There must be a reason. Can Kagome truly be that uninformed about her own traditional culture? She grew up in an ancient shrine, soaked in history and tradition, with her grandfather's stories filling her ears. How can she be so lost? Now InuYasha is about to fight Hiroshi's son...Honor be damned! What good does it do you when you end up dead for piddling reasons? Bleh! What can Kagome do? Everyone will stop her, the fight seems to be a foregone conclusion. -- Doing a great job. Oh, hey...I'm not crying! LOL
