It's a really good story. I like the idea of the plot. However, I think it could do with a bit of elaboration. I know that you may think up parts of a story that are ahead of the point you're at, and you want to get there fast, but you have to remember to take your time. Drag things out enough to make them interesting, but not boring. The way the first chapter is written, it's like reading a text book. It's like: This happened; then this happened.... Spice it up a bit. You could also describe actions and facial expressions past what we essentially need to know. I can think up of several ways to drag out Kagome's interaction with Shippou, even.///////////////// Also, Sesshomaru was a bit OOC. AU characters are allowed to be OOC a bit, however only to an extent. The way Sesshomaur talks is at odds with the way you describe him and his actions./////////////// Anyway, the story needs work, but it has alot of potential.
