I never really thought about it... it weird because all the other ones where much longer... but ehn again this one had the main story line to back it up and the other ones you need to really introduce the characters...

Like other readers, I loved Toga! I also found Aiko and Nori endearing as well. And Inu Yashas sons sound like they would be fun to get to know as well (especially Ryomaru). I missed Sango and Miroku but I realize there is no way in the time line that they would have worked into this story, yet they are so intregate in what we have come to know as the InuYasha experience, or at least they are for me. I would have liked to get to know a little more about Shippou. I realize he only spent 2 years of his life with Kagome and InuYasha, and maybe they didn't impact him that much, but it seems as though the Shippou they knew is just gone. I found it very endearing how Inuyasha came after her. Amazing how he dealt with the news that Kikyou died after she had opened the well for him again. The chapter that blew me away was the one where she got her memory back during the panther youkai fight in the alley. When you tied the actual lines together from the past and the present and her flashbacks all I can say is "BRILLIANT, WOW, UNBELIEVABLE" that was just awesome. While I read it, I got flashbacks it was so good! I do not read the stories for the Lemons, I would never ask for one, this story however, didn't rank up with the other stories. I don't care if any story has them. Romance is good enough for me, and you get a 10+ on that honey. I did write reviews of Chronicles and Metamorphosis, they aren't as complete and complimentary as they should be, I just figured out how to do it so they are after the fact. I wrote them after finishing Purity, they most certainly didn't get the attention they deserved. All and all, you are very talented Sue and you should think about being published. You have more than enough talen in my book. I'd pay to read your books. In fact, I'm going to print them off in case they ever get pulled off of the sight because I know I'll want to read them more than once. Thank you for sharing you talent. Beth

While always wondering who Koshi was, I was always enthralled with the other subtle plot lines that were going on at the same time. It is always entertaining when Kouga and InuYasha are at odds over Kagome, the prayer beads was quite an idea, LOL. Over all, I truley did enjoy this book. The villan was truley a villan, and someone that Kagome couldn't reform, though true to her nature she wanted to. I thought it was neat that Sango had seen her "Seer" and Naraku's castle. Old Seer was an interesting character as well as the little Monkey Demon. I enjoyed reading the book. Thank you Sue

It bridged a period of time that showed the further development of InuYasha and Kagome's relationship. While many author's try to do this, I felt that Sue did this beautifyll by demonstrating how Kagome's natural nature and never ending love and patience for InuYasha allowed him to learn what he needed to while further developing into the man she hoped he could be. The story line was so creative, and it was not only a love story but also very mysterious as well. The idea of having InuYasha's mother's diary exist in more that on time period and his natural reluctance to read it was genius. Also using Myoga as a form of communication between the 500 year time span was also brilliant and everything worked to Sue's advantage. I loved the further evolution of Miroku and Sango as well and the way that he changed his "occupation" from a Monk to a demon slayer. How both couples were working through things, keeping secrets, and yet close as ever was wonderful. I must say this is my favorite book of Sueeric. I have ready 4 so far, and that is in the last 4 weeks. Sue, you amaze me. Thank you for writing. I hope you continue. Beth

Reviewed By: iloveanimecartoons [MediaMiner Member] On: June 02, 2007 08:51 PDT Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: So, I was listening to my fanfic playlist on my youtube account, rereading the 1st 3 chaps of the fic (and, lemme tell ya, Sue, it made one HECK of an inpact in the way i read and interpreted the fic, and just envisioning Kagome taking off the rosary, leaving for good, making THAT wish; and, OH, the anguish and bitter heartbreak (hold me...rock me like a BABY!) ! Then, Midoriko (she meant well, i'm sure, but...)InuYasha sobbing...HARD...on KIKYOU'S shoulders, of ALL places--DUDE! The goodbyes, from ALL involved, were HARD on me (my throat kinda closed up on me and i could REALLY go or some Pepsi, right about now). Shippou pulled on my heartstrings a bit. ONE WORD: INTENSITY! Sue...GURRRRRRLLLLLL...u got SKILLZ! (Cuz, i am NOT a cryin' type of chick)

I reread Purity, and I'm glad that I did. It was hilarious and brought me back to some moments that I had completely forgotton about for a long time (answering phones at work while giggling hysterically because I just read the Diamond Spear Blast ring part was a bit awkward, but all in all was good fun). I'm off now to read your Purity continuations, which I'm excited for. Well done, over all. Love Jaci.
