I loved the plot, it was so good, I got really involved with it and the whole thing just flowed prfectly. I loved all of the original characters, you have a great talent for making them very believable. I dont think anyone was OCC, either. I just loved the on-going jokes, with the 'Monk-in-Pain' red and 'purifying the jewel' and all. I cant tell you how many times I laughed out loud at your fic. And the kids! All of them were so cute! I just loved the whole thing, your really talented at this writing thing. Thanks so much for writing, I hope you continue with your other works! EAP

| Title: Memorable Reviewed By: MaginMan [MediaMiner Member] On: March 02, 2005 10:35 PST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 9 of 10 Comment/Review: Another incredible story (Took me 4 days to finish). Grammatically, this was not one of your best stories, but plot-wise, I think I may have liked this one more than Purity or Metamorphosis. I was upset in Purity that Sango and Miroku got left behind, and the miscarriages in Meta were driving me crazy. I know you love the angst (and I love you for it usually), but you are coming off as a Sango/Miroku hater (MaginMan like Sango!). Seriously though, I love the depth in your stories. The realization that Sesshoumaru had been manipulating things from the beginning of the story was better than Meta's surprise Koshii. Well, I am off to read Tempest next, and as soon as I can get over the fact that I got hooked on your stories while looking for quick hentai, I will probably end up reading "Out of Time" and some of your others. PS: I loved the Chronicles' One Shots; perhaps there are more coming in the future, yes?

I'm reading to the story if I like how its writing on not how people have sex. So, furthermore, I think that whatever you place in your story, is not up to the fans, but up to yourself. Thanks, hope you read this. ^_^ ~¤devoureddarkness¤~ P.S. (I read alot of your storys it just so late, when I read them o.O;)

One thing. I thought it was supposed to be an antique auction. Maybe I'm getting things mixed up. Anyway, I was just thinking that maybe it could show up at the auction and Kagome's mother would buy it, read it, and give it to Kagome, but that leaves a paradox with the two of the book existing at the same time. Creepy. I hate time travel. But, I love the show. Strange. Anyway. It was just a thought. Dolarodus
| Reviewed By: suzehowe [MediaMiner Member] On: February 22, 2005 23:53 PST Comment/Review: (continued!) Most of the IY stories that I've read have forced the core group apart or forced Kagome to leave her family behind. I just really loved that everyone could be together...and it still was an entirely believable scenario! It didn't feel contrived. Gosh, what else?? The complexity of the plot is amazing. It just kills me that you are basically writing on the fly. That is an amazing talent! I've got detailed story outlines and *still* can't manage to finish them, let alone crank out a daily update! LOL I love that you are a believer in happy endings. I am, too. I think there's far too many sad things that happen in real life - I don't need it in my fanfics! That's not to say that I don't appreciate angst, because I totally do, and I think that you use it very effectively. It's just part of the whole process of bringing the characters and couples together and helping them to grow and forge stronger bonds. And to those who wanted you to rush the "lemon" portion of the program - phooey on them! Believe me, I love the adult stuff as much (if not more! LOL) than the next person, but it means so much more when there is a story and reason behind it. You just don't get that squishy, wonderful, warm feeling in your stomach from your one-shot smut fics. And your story definitely gave me that wonderful, first-kiss feeling...ahhhh.... I should wrap up this marathon review. I sure hope that this gets into the "featured" section. You sure deserve it!

WAH! I read "Torrent" and liked it (though it wrapped a little too quickly for me!). I read "Purity" and loved it (though I felt that Gym Teacher!InuYasha was going to get arrested for hitting on Jail Bait!Kagome). But this? This story is, by far, my favorite (and tied with "The Lucky Ones" as my favorite IY story EVER). I didn't find this story until the end of last week and spent three days glued to my computer, reading it from beginning to end. I didn't want to stop to sleep, it's THAT good. I know that all the good comments have already been taken, but I just have to complement you on how well you have crafted every character in this story. They are still the characters we know and love from the manga and anime, but are allowed to grow, make mistakes and mature. I think I'm actually the most impressed by Future Sesshoumaru. I truly believe that the events of the past 500 years have shaped him into the person that he now is. He's still Sesshoumaru...but he's learned a lot along the way. I also think this is my favorite story because all of the characters end up together. Kagome doesn't have to leave her family behind to have a life with InuYasha and they don't have to leave Miroku, Sango and Shippou back in the Feudal Era in order to pursue a life in modern Tokyo. And again, I still felt like the characters remained true to themselves, even when relocated to this new environment. (not enough room...more above!)

Your story kept me up late over several days trying to read it all. A throughly wonderful story! I believe that you write the characters truer with every story. Excellent.
