I think you did your usual excellent job with this chapter. If you hadn't placed all those notes in front (and I am sure there are some people that were foolish enough not to read them) then you would never have kept this fiction to the length you wanted. Thank you, I am really enjoying this.

Good god woman you have done it! I think I learned more in the chapter than I did in my history class. lol no really wow didn't know most of that, what a lesson and at some point I for got that was only an authors note. Until I got to the end I thought that it was apart of the story. but it's funny 6 pgs of author notes not including the two at the end. what wonderful work. the research must have taking sometime. the beginning was cute. happy birthday Mrs. Taisho awe the age of the charms and christianaty. poor Ryou and Hinata my heart goes out for them. the standing on the plate honestly! such where the times back then. once again you've come up with a chapter to out do your previous ones. shivonne

Gah! Could that chapter have been any longer? Not that I'm complaining by any means - it was wonderful and sad and wonderful...Poor Kagome, having to give up her precious books. I run into the same problem when having to figure out names for OCs. I usually end up with bunches of names all starting with the same letter.

I haven't even read all the author's notes yet, but I saw the line in there about King Arthur not being real and I have to say it - I am a history buff. History Channel is my Holy Grail. From what I've gathered there actually was a man in early European history, called Art in Celtic or "the bear" who was rather close to being the real Arthur. While the story surrounding Arthur is fiction, the man himself (or at least his father) was fact. The legend of King Arthur, as is true with many ballads of the ancients, is a flourished tale based in fact. Kinda like you have these facts, but they're not interesting enough so you add to it to give it more flare and then someone else adds to it and then someone else and someone else and you end up with this fantasmal king who, historically, could have never done all the things acredited to him, but did do something. I find I have to thank you for the history lesson. Fascinating stuff. You really must have done some footwork to dig up some of the more obsure details. Particularly liked how you co-mingled fact with fiction in your timeline. Your attention to detail makes me want to write something a little less, ohhh I don't know... stupid? Anyway, I really like the angle you took with Hinata & (sorry I forgot his name.) You never really see that in fics. I appreciate its originality. Oh, in case you are curious, the symbolism behind stepping on the plate is reminiscent of Peter's denial of Christ. If you ask me, it's kind of a catch-22, since it technically could be considered idolatry. The early Christians still co-opted a lot of the Pagan rights to make it more marketable to the masses at the time. Hey, I may be a drunk, but I still remember some of the crap those nuns beat into my melon. Anyway, wonderful chapter. I think it's really your most complex and well planned one so far. So many interesting tidbits and I learned something. What a great day! Great job!

Another good chapter. And I do appreciate all the research you've obviously done to make this story as accurate as you can. That type of thing would get very tricky with a story like this, and thank you for doing what you could with it.

wow to see time go by like a blink of an eye. Poor Kagome having to go through M&S death. how sad that as time goes you lose people but also gang some as well there are still the children of the children. I'm glad that they when to the castle it should be much easier. and it's sad to see your mate die but like you said you keep the memory with you always. wow your writing has change so much while writing this story it's amazing. sorry I didn't login in to lazy ladytokyo

Wonderful story you have here. Took me forever to read but I finally made it to the last page you updated ^.^ I really enjoyed this story so far and I will continue to read to the very end that is sadly coming soon. I kind of get lost in all the kids lol I almost decided to make a list of who is who since I forget while I'm reading. Very smooth in flow and it definately stays in one direct path even though you put the spot light on other couples. It stays right on subject and comes together very nicely. I also read your other story 500 years untill tomorrow which I also loved. Keep up the good work!
