WAIIIIII!!!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I totally love all your stories but this one is my absolute favorite (except for Chaos Came Early, but this is my favorite AxY one, I have a weakness for good AU) and I was starting to think it was just going to sit here forever, not that I could criticize because let's face it, you've done a mind-boggling amount of amazing work and you're really, REALLY good about updating but summer hols FINALLY started today and I got home after a ridiculously long orchestra rehearsal, and logged on, and HERE THIS WAS and you just made my SUMMER thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!!! ~Maja

Hurray for your return! I loved Ran with the mighty iron frying pan, swift perception of Yohji's plight and thoughtful action to protect him. Poor Ran and his mother. I trust you for a happy ending at some point (a point I'm in no hurry to see you reach. I love all your stories and this one just hits all delightful notes). Farf singing "that" song just had to happen at some point.

Squee! You do such a brilliant job of showing how easy it is for Yohji to get into trouble. I guess it's easy to get into trouble on a pirate ship, but Yohji only has a limited amount of prudence. He's so adorable. And Ran is kicking ass! Farf is perfectly disturbing too. Such a good chapter; pirate action and a bit of angst regarding Yohji's treasonous presence. I would say that I can't wait for the lemon (I LOVE your lemons) but the story is so interesting that I forget to be impatient for the lemon. Oh, and the skillet was a brilliant touch. Effective Ran. By the way, I probably account for 4 hits on this chapter, unless mediaminer is smart about filtering them out.

pirate fic ahoy!!! (cue pirate song: "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum...") this is something i've never gotten around to doing but definitely have been thinking of doing. damn, you got to it first, and i may as well settle with being as green as Yohji (though not because of a queesy stomach, but rather a hint of envy -i can almost smell the pirate stench and taste the rum-) because i would never have done it as well as you do. My, aren't those pirate exceptionally lecherous and scurvy? and haha, a former pearl diver gone too deep was a touch of brilliance! i just couldn't follow the ran storyline though, somehow i feel something must be divined right about this time, i just can't, probably because i'm doggone tired but still up (that doesn't mean i can't enjoy your fic though). there were some sentences that i have to reread, and the starting scenes were confusing at first, but again i attribute it to my being tired and up late. the last chapter was particulary splendid and distinctly pirate-y, kudos! i felt the barefooted apprehension of a deck of pirates ready to jump board amidst treacherous waters hidden in fog.

This is such a delicious story. You sweep us into the story and into an exciting plot with intriguing depths to the characters, yet make it all seem effortless. It is hard to wait for more.

Hehehe...yep some parts of Ran definately like Yohji. He sounds a mite possessive huh? Sounds like Yohji almost melted when he called him his. I would say hurry up and update, but I'm not sure if that kinda request speeds the update along or not. Oh well for old timesake - Hurry up and update! I'm lovin it.
