This chapter makes me a little sad. It's nice that Ran is watching out for Yohji, both physically and psychologically, but there is still so much distance between them. If Yohji has to be grateful for the fog to shield himself from Ran's actions, what hope can he have that they'd ever come to truly see and accept one another? I'm anxious to see where this goes and how this particular issue is addressed and resolved! I do so love this story! (And it's writer!)

awww, farf and aya leaping together into vicious bloody slaughter...kissing madly over the carnage, blood-slick hands sliding into each other's... oh, that wasn't in there, was it? hee... i loved aya sticking his wood on yohji's bum. and what is stairs' deal? does he just like to toy with people, or is he just a nutter? or both? all the navigating info was interesting, too. great chapter, if a liiiiiittle short.

Wow, great plot. Aya and Yohji are terribly in character. I liked the bit about Yohji being an 8 year old wastrel rogue. Brilliant dialogue!

"Pirate mommy." I like it. For Yohji's sake, I do hope that his tomorrow is better, but that's probably too much to wish for, huh? Another enjoyable chapter. Nice chance to see Yohji being resourceful and not an "typical idiot lordling." Can't wait for more!

An Au in the pirate era is something to celebrate. Ran wearing pirate's clothing... yummie! Even the his cold attitude will compliment his look.And Yohji as a nobleman is something to look out and the Farf is sickly cute too. Want more!
