Sorry folks, I'm not rooting for Yoji to come out ahead on this one, evil Aya is just too much fun to be tamed and Yoji deserves whatever the hell he gets - and it *will* be hell - for even trying.

I liked your Scwartz interaction. Schuldig's voice is very amusing. Aya's in over his head, obviously, and watching him struggling is both compelling and painful.

You're a good writer, one of the best out there; give us another installment soon, OK, so we have something to look forward to...? Please, please, pretty please ?

I loved Crawford's meeting with Ran (and all of the implied back story), and Schuldig's conversation with Farfarello as well as his observations throughout. Best of all is the way you've mixed humor, a fascinating plot, angst, and making us care deeply for these characters. Poor Ran, I hope there is a happy ending possible for him.

You have me as fascinated with Aya and Yojhi is - even though I getting his POV. Great emotional depth in this one, leavened with light touches of humour. Beautiful, flowing style. And underlying it all, mystery and a touch of menace. There was this one line ... Great job!

Reviewed By: RedQueen [MediaMiner Member] On: January 23, 2007 22:39 EST Comment/Review: still lovin' this a LOT. i love aya's twisty brain, and how he seems to love manipulation. i like it that aya comforts himself with farfarello's tenderness. and i like it that yohji knows he's being manipulated, and still it draws him further in. and...well, you know what i'm hoping for, so i won't say it again. i'm terribly glad you've been updating. i'm very interested to know into what inextricable web yohji is being drawn.

Poor Aya, apparently he's been through so much, and so little of him left other than determination to accomplish his revenge and do whatever is necessary. I love his skill in manipulation that you've depicted, and Yohji's response. Just maybe there is some hope for some Aya healing? In any case, I absolutely love this story.

'...now, he had to remind himself that they'd existed' - poignant and real. Exactly how grief tends to work. Solidifies the feeling that he doesn't believe Aya-chan will ever come back to him too; he thinks of her in the past tense. I also like that Yohji isn't totally Aya's patsy. It's interesting to see him thinking his way through the situation. I like a smart Yotan. I look forward to more revelations.
