I know you posted this story a while ago, so you probably won't be reading this, but I just had to get this off my chest. While I enjoyed this story for the most part there were some problems I had. Namely, I noticed that in all your stories you like making the audience feel extremely sympathetic for Kenshin and you sing his praises almost non-stop. I have no problem with that even if it can get a little annoying at times; it's your fanfic, you do what you want with it. But for this particular story... it seemed a little odd and kind of messed up. This story is based off of something traumatic happening to Kaoru. You go from Kaoru being brutally molested to Kenshin giving everyone a history lesson about himself and then he and Sanosuke start bantering playfully as Kenshin carries Kaoru's unconcious body. All in the same scene. And then when they bring her in to see Megumi, there's more playful hijinks over whether or not Kaoru was actually raped! And what prompts Megumi to fall to her knees crying? Was it Kaoru being assaulted? Nope, it's the fact that Kenshin mentions his house he shared with Tomoe. Uhhh? And so you know, just because someone isn't raped -in the traditional sense- doesn't make it any less traumatic or scarring. You make it seem like since the guy's penis didn't go all the way in, the only thing she should suffer from is a bout of claustrophobia. In fact, you kind of just let the whole trauma thing fall to the wayside because Kenshin needs consoling over his dead wife! And oh, we need to learn more about Kenshin's past! Because Kaoru trying to come to terms with what happened to her isn't interesting enough. A few chapters after all the sexy-time and annoyingly flip-flopped dialogue (Why is everyone saying 'oro'? That's Kenshin's -thing-), and Kaoru manages to get over her experience by... getting the shit beat out of her by Kenshin. Which, by the way, would NEVER under ANY cirumstance, happen. I'm not going to even go near all the creepy references to Tomoe. I get that she was a big part of his life and all that, but seriously? You end the main part of the story with Kenshin dreaming of making out with Tomoe! And then the epilogue which had.. pretty much nothing to do with the story at all. If you were to read the first chapter and then the epilogue, you would think they were from two completely different fics. How did a story about Kaoru trying to deal with a problem end up being about Kenshin and how amazing he is and how much he's suffered in his life? I've read one or two other fics that dealt with Kaoru being raped and there's a similar scenario in which Kenshin helps her heal by allowing her to learn about his past. Lame. Anyway.. sorry. This kind of turned into a flame, didn't it? I really didn't mean for it to. mmm vry nicley done. vry cute! ummm just one tiny stupid question... wat exactly is Tenchuu? is it like some kind of torucher? *shrugs* oh well just wonderin. hehehe. AMAZING JOB ON DIS WHOLE STORY!!!! I have read it idk how many times over again. ^^

Very well done! As expected from Plyric, in case you don't remember me, i'm also known as airen0920/airen920, i've read a few of your works already and left a review[as if that matters! XD]. Nice job on the gorefest on the first two chappies! i'm happy to say that i was enjoying the gorefest while munching on a blueberry muffin from The French Baker, thoroughly basking myself in the story. The limes and lemons are all so sweet, and i loved and felt each and every one of them, including the sparring between Kaoru and Kenshin. i've never imagined Kaoru to be THAT fierce! it was very enjoyable! i loved the comedic scenes and had a hard time holding back my laughter! Thank you for puttting a glossary at the end of each chappie, though i know most of the common Japanese words, i don't know what the Shinsengumi's slogan meant! Again, as you say, Katajikenai for the wonderful story you decided to share with us, and i'm truly grateful to have read this beautiful piece of yours! P.S.: Katajikenai for the s*x tips! Though, i have no chance of using them... YET... ;) and please do write more!

Brava! Brava! Brava! I admit that I was a little apprehensive when I read your warnings about the rape/gore in the earlier chapters, but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. I thoroughly enjoyed your writing style and the story you've decided to share. :) It's been a long, long while since I've watched Rurouni Kenshin, but you brought Kenshin and Kaoru (lovingly) back to me. :D 'Bout your Japanese: it's often very easy to want to swap English words with Japanese words, but done without awareness, it becomes jarring or stilted, so I'm very impressed with the way you blended the language seamlessly into the writing. Even without the glossary, I think most readers wouldn't have a problem getting the context. :) Also appreciated your lime/lemon tags--as one other reviewer said, that was very considerate. Especially for readers who might not want to read the too explicit material, or.. for the reader who looks eagerly to them. ;) Thank you for sharing; I had a great time reading.

it is finished... ^_^ thanks for writing this way too original and wonderful epilogue. if i didn't know better, this could have been a oneshot. kenshin and kaoru remained in character and i really liked the addition of those two characters. it was such a beautiful and heartbreaking scene of having kenshin be comforted by the whole family. ayame and suzume are so cute and understanding chibis ^^d kisho was a wonderful character, i like him too :) thanks for writing fanfiction and sharing it with all of us, it was a very fun read. good luck with your other works and if you need another one to proofread your work, i'd gladly volunteer. good luck again, plyric, ja!

Wahhhhh its all over. Booo Hooo. I want more Kenshin. I wanted to see Kenji's birth. But atleast you left it at a good point. Great story. Can't see if you make another one.

wow, you added an epilogue today! i love it,, sweet and gosh,, i really love the way you write!! i was rereading your story and when i was about to click on another chapter, i noticed this new chapter, and just have to read it!!!! wow, really,, oh, are you making doujinshis too? i'm reading some RK kenshin kaoru doujins right now,, ^^

wow! it's done... i'm still awaiting for the epilogue you've said you're working on :) hehehe i liked the ceremony, it's more, um, modern :P and yey! no white makeup for kaoru :P holding hands is PDA?! haha! what will they say about the present meaning of PDA?! tsktsk... really had fun with your story, am trying to reread it again sometime soon. good luck with writing more stories, thanks for sharing them with us too ^_^

AMAZING!!!! ^_^ WAIII!!! >.< its just TOO CUTE!!!! *sigh* this review is for teh ENTIRE story since i was too lazy to review each one indevisualy......*sigh*.......w/e.....i just LOVED the way you ended this fic....it's so sweet and heartfelt!
