Loved this chapter! I'm glad you had Inu and Kag take it slow and just fall into bed immediately. Even though they are pretty sure about their own feelings they still are getting used to the idea that it's ok to allow their love to blossom. The interaction between them in this chapter is just sooo cute! This might be the last quiet, safe night they have together before nasty things start hitting fans. Wonder what the evening holds for them? Defintely need clean sheets for that room! Ewww! LOL! I could see Sess still having Inu and Kagome followed, secretly of course, becuase he does seem genuinely concerned about his brother...not that he doesn't think he can handle himself but not knowing what his brother is heading into is driving him crazy. Another good chapter. Inuyasha and Kagome are taking it slow (realistically slow)......but are clearly getting closer by the second. I wish I could think of a better word than "cute" to describe them, but I can't, lol. I liked the "passing of the torch" stuff with Miroku and Sesshoumaru too. Miro's been his cousin's protector for a LONG time, so it must be hard for him to sit on the sidelines and allow someone else to protect her. But, he also knows how much Inuyasha means to Kagome and vice versa, so that makes it easier to swallow. And Sessh's pacing was great too. Sitting around waiting for news would indeed drive a control freak like Sessh crazy, lol. That was very much in character. And having to trust Inuyasha to take care of himself instead of letting big brother do it is probably getting to the Ice King, too. I liked that Sessh acknowledged that he wasn't always there for his little brother like he should have been and clearly regrets it. It humanizes him, makes him seem less perfect.....and therefore more interesting. It was just good period. And I look forward to reading more soon.

Great chapter! It's so sweet how Kagome figured out what was bothering Inuyasha and then restored his faith in himself by showing him her faith in him! I'm glad they didn't just jump into a deeper relationship yet...they both are still so afraid of what might go wrong in the future. They each are sure of their own feelings but unsure if their love is returned. They need time to be able to see that in each other and be reassured by it. Hmmm a mole, eh? Nice touch. Be interesting to see how Sess 'deals' with her! he he. I love the way you write the interaction between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru...the terms of 'endearment' are just great and I can just hear the not quite hidden affection between them. :) Sango had already decided she 'wanted' Miroku but now it seems like she may be developing a desire for a deeper relationship. Awww. Thanks for sharing!

yasha's some pushover and girl can't take 'no' for an answer. too bad that they can't use the informer to their advantage by feeding her some false information. call her after some hours and inform her that they just found out that they had to go to seattle or denver instead. she tells the baddies and they have less to deal with in new orleans. . . i just love a yash/kag fic. and i'm assuming he held her all night? ~ a pleasure, ginny

Another good chapter. Kagome and Inuyasha's fight was....CUTE! Even if they are too chicken to tell each other that they've fallen in love over the course of a few days, lol. Honestly, I's be afraid of that, too. And, Kagome was able to say what Yasha needed to hear...which happens to be the truth, by the way. She IS safest with him because he'd do anything to keep her safe. I look forward to seeing where you go with this next, especially now that Inuyasha's figured out who the mole is. I also enjoyed the brotherly love at the end; their "endearments" for each other were so sweet! LOL. Seriously, though, there is clearly love and respect between the two brothers. And even if their words don't show it, their ACTIONS do.

I loved this chapter! So like Inu to just take off because he'd never be able to do it if he talked to her. I thought Rin would be the one to convince Kagome to go after him, Sess was a nice twist. Also I thought it was touching that Kagome went to the same tree that Inu used to hide in to get away and think! I'm so happy that Kagome seems to have decided to take the chance on her and Inuyasha. Should be an interesting 'talk' between the two! LOL! Fantastic story...you'll get'em next quarter!

GREAT chapter. I never expected SESSHOUMARU of all people to play matchmaker! The way he and Rin helped Kagome track Inuyasha was brilliant....as was the way he set up additonal protection for her without her knowledge. My favorite part, though, was when Inuyasha found out about it, of course. Those two clearly love each other so much. And Kagome, in particular, has grown so much since they found each other. After pulling a stunt like this, she has definitely come out of that frightened little shell she was in. She was always strong; she just needed a reason to show it. And for the man she chose, a backbone is required, lol. Inuyasha would run roughshod over any woman who didn't stand up to him, not because he's a bad guy....but because he's such a strong personality. So, unless a woman wants to be completely smothered under his "protection", she has to stand up for herself. And NOW it looks like he just may have met his match. Anger and lust sound good to me! LOL

Another nice chapter! Poor Inu still beating himself up. I'm afraid he feels that he doesn't deserve her now. Have to hope his love for her overrides his guilty feelings. They really need to talk to each other if they can get past their insecurities. I know he thinks leaving her behind where it's safe is the best thing to do but she feels safest with him! I just hope he takes Miroku's advice and talks to her first. I loved the bathroom scene! I can just see Kagome telling Inu she's moving in and taking over the bathroom. LOL Great heart to heart between her and Miroku...seems like she is really trying to take a chance. Good luck on the Voodoo research. Keep your father-in-law away from power tools! LOL Just kidding! Hope the remodel is going well!

Good chapter. Poor Inuyasha and Kagome.....communication just isn't their strong suit (to put it MILDLY). If they would just TALK to each other, darn it, a lot of these misunderstanding and wirecrossings wouldn't be happening! Uhh! But, naturally, Yasha doesn't tell Kagome what's he's thinking under the guise of "protecting" her....and Kagome has simply waited too long to make her feelings clear to Inuyasha. Those two! Talk about frustrating. Now, since Inuyasha may have already flown the coop without talking to Kagome first, all we can do is wait for the fallout. And, naturally, I can't wait to see it. LOL.
