ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ this story has always made me cry!!! I couldn’t put this one
down. Admittedly I was up way too late the past 3 nights reading.
So. Dang. Good. Now...I have finally reached my favorite purity
character of all!!!! Subterfuge here I come!!!!

Forgive me, I keep forgetting to sign in, and I can’t remember if
my username on MM is lilswtheart398 or 9811. So if their is a
discrepancy, again my apologies! I had meant to review when I
finished avouchment, but instead immediate dove into this story
instead. First off, I smacked myself in the head after the first
couple of chapters, because I totally forgot the research had been
left with Isabelle, and that #7 was alllll about said research!
Oops! I love the story of Griffin. I don’t blame Sam for wanting to
be with him! I think I’d want someone who was a happy medium
between Griffin (Quiet, outdoorsy, interested in saving the planet,
a gentle soul), and Evan (typical passionate bad boy who loves
music, video games, a good time, and GOOD sex). Anywho! On to Sam!!
I have read this story a few times over the years. Other than
Evan’s story, this is by far my favorite main purity arc. I don’t
know if the darker story line appeals to me or what. I will say
that as much as I like the twisted more macabre elements in this
story, I struggle with your most recent arc (the one that I won’t
even try to spell out). That one, while brilliantly written, is
almost TOO dark for me to handle. Almost 8 purities down. I think
it’s safe to say Quarantine is just about over, but I’ll continue
reading through them all! Thank you again for providing me with
such wonderful literature to ingest over the years! Truly
appreciate you, and the time and effort it took to write all of
these. Especially after having reacquainted myself with everything
you’ve gone through. Bless you ma’am!

I have been reading your Purity series for a few weeks now, and I just cannot stop! Your stories are amazing and addictive. I'm supposed to go for an eye exam in a few days and a friend suggested I rest my eyes beforehand so my prescription will be more accurate. My first thought was "That means no Purity, I don't know if I can do that!" lol. You have an incredible gift and I thank you for sharing it with us.

I am just catching up on my reading after a very busy school year. I started this when you started writing it but had to put it aside when I got so busy. I was a little hesitant to read it because of the warning about torture but I love your work so much that I just had to read it. I am loving it and wish I could have joined Kurt in paying back those "white coats" what they deserved. I thought all of the punishments that he doled out were appropriate and just. The only thing I regret is that Sami's family couldn't have had front row seats to what he did. I think a few of the men wouldn't be as hard on Kurt if they knew what he did. I am only about halfway through but I am writing this now because I reached the part where your mother-in-law died and wanted to also offer my belated condolences on her passing. It is always hard when someone you love and are close to passes. My prayers go to you and your family that you make/made it through the grief as well as you can.

HeKurt laid down the law and Tanny's all embarassed. Oh, the growing pains girls of boys and overprotective fathers. Still, after all she went through before Kurt got her, I can understand his reluctance to let anyone near her unsupervised. hell, my neice is 15 and in H.S. and I've only let her go to two boy/girl parties alone (with parents/staff members I knew supervising, of course), so I feel you, Kurt. Boys--scram, Pete! LOL! I'm so glad he had a family again to make his trip to Disney World so special! Life's ironic and you learn something new every day. To think, he started life out with nothing but hatred and a Vendetta and ended it with such wonderful, loving closure! Wow, this story wowed me, Sue! You do DARK so well! I'm proud of the job you did! This story challenged a lot of my pre-concieved notions of love and hate and vengence and forgiveness and truly made me think "What if...?" a LOT. This will DEFINITELY be a story I come back to often and thanks so much for sharing this wonderful work with all of us! **glomps Sue good**

Okay, can I be honest, Sue? I don't think Mediaminer.org allows enough letters per comment for me to express my...um...total enjoyment of this chapter. So, no soliloquy this go 'round. In a word: Awwwwww-hawwww-hawwwwwwwwwwwww! Okay, that's not enough... Lemme think... Okay, Kich showed and proved on the father tip; letting go of his hatred at least enough to give Sami away had to take a lot and I give him his props. Showed a lot of heart and maturity on his part and I was proud of him! The Old Granger goosings were so damn funny and I'm surprised the old dide didn't get bopped on the head once or twice. Poor embarassed Kurt! And OMG, Tanny and that wedding cake! Can we say Sugar High? Good thing Youkai and Hanyous don't get human diseases...homegirl's right in line for ADHD! **snort** JK, lemme be good. It was nice to see Rin and Shippou again and OMG, InuYasha bopped him good, didn't he? Well, he DID have it coming, I must say. Shippou still has a big mouth and Inuyasha, a short fuse--BOUND to happen! LOL! I loved this chapter for all the love, all the fun, all the humor and all the great family comments! This was a Kool-Aid smile in text! You go, Sue!

Dear LAWD, I thought Kich was gonna stick to his guns and not show up. Tugged on my heart like it was REAL. I was so sad when Sami's YV was trying to get her mind off the fact. Practical, but so sad advice. That was so sweet how both Cain and InuYasha took Kich's place before he changed his mind and came. And, Lexi being supporitve kinda surprised me, too! And Kurt standing up to Kich for Sami...wow...the courgae it must've taken to be honest about wanting to keep her at the facility longer because he didn't want to let her go...wow. I was nervous as hell that Kich was gonna try to maim the man! Dang, you had me nervous for a bit there! But, eventually, he came! He came, Sue! he CAME! I was so glad! **sniffle** It all just made my heart flutter.

I...LOVE...THIS...STORY!!!!!!! When I saw the title of the Epilogue, I burst into tears. Forty years on, Kurt finally gets that trip to Disneyland. And Tanny still has her candy fixation(LOL!). This story made me laugh, made me cry, made me bite my nails in fear and swear at the screen. They get better every time, Sue. Now, to the (MUCH) more light-hearted matter of Evan...

Thank you for sharing your talents, dreams, and time with us! Purity 9 is definately different and should be fun for all! Loved the ending here - glad Sam and Kurt waited a while to start their own family, giving them and Tanny time to adjust. I'm sure Kichiro softened up more when the other grandchildern arrived! I wonder if Kurt ever shared his past life visions with Inu or Kags? Disney World was a fitting epilogue. Hope your Labor Day weekend was great! Catch ya on Purity 9!

This was a nice ending. Everything came full circle. I'm happy that nine is about to start up again, but I'm sad that I don't get to read about Sami and Kurt anymore. I'm sure they'll show up in the rest of the fics, but It's never the same. Thanks for sharing this with us! And I look forward to next Monday!
