Again, great chapter. The Sango, Miroku fluff was nice, and Sesshomaru has a thing for Misery? Where does that leave Shippo? Well, I'll read one more chapter and I'm off to bed. Chanda

Great chapter. Misery is rescued and all of the couples get closer to each other. Of course after Kagome's destruction of the device Cernonnus now knows that they have a powerful Miko on their side. He will probably try to research Kagome to find a weakness. I fear he will find her grandfather but I hope that it will work out so nothing happens to the old man. He is the last of Kagome's family and if something happens to him because of her she will never forgive herself. Then there will be the guilt that Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Shippo will feel because they all have taken Kagome under their protection. I am looking forward to the next installment of this story.

Good chapter. I'm just glad that they were able to get to Misery in time. As for Kagome and Inuyasha, did they figure out a way to combine their spirits without becoming mates? If so, is that okay with Inuyasha since he's so possesive? It seemed that way. I look forward to finding out.

Sesshomaru is going to be sooo mad when he finds Misery. She is acting as if he can't protect her and the others. He took them all under his protection so as he sees it the battles are his to fight. Cernonnus just took on more than he ever expected by trying to take Misery like this. I loved the discussion between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru finally sees what his father tried to tell him centuries ago that Inuyasha learned 500 years ago protecting Kagome. Sesshomaru was right though in that Inuyasha needs to talk to Kagome and not assume that she will just fall in with him. She probably will but he needs to let her know how he feels. I am glad that the brothers could talk about this without coming to blows. They took the first step to becoming true brothers instead of enemies. I thought Misery's reaction to Sesshomaru in the club was great, the tension starts to build between them. Why do I think Sesshomaru will quickly realize that Misery isn't in the club, and he and Inuyasha can follow her trail easily. I can't wait to see how they all react to the threat. And Misery is going to be in for a yelling from many fronts I think; Sesshomaru, for not accepting he can protect her, Kagome and Sango, for not believing they would rather fight together, Shippo, for not accepting help and Inuyasha for protection like Sesshomaru and upsetting Kagome.

I like how everyone closed ranks around Misery, not surprised mind you, unlike Misery. I know how Kagome's loving heart has affected the group after all of this time. I also like how gentle Sesshomaru is becoming. I hope we will be flies on the wall during Sesshomaru's discussion with Inuyasha about mating. I would like to see Sesshomaru and Misery get together since it will help in the fight against Cernonnus. Sesshomaru will fight especially hard to protect his mate. I am looking forward to the next chapter as always.

I loved all the beach scenes. It is hilarious that Miroku, the lecher, was the first to get his girl. Though it does make sense since he is the one with the most "experience" in dealing with women. I am glad that Inuyasha and Kagome worked out their relationship to some extent. They need that out in the open so they can concentrate on facing the new evil and bringing their protective feelings closer to the surface. They are both stronger when protecting someone. Kagome will want to protect Misery and Inuyasha will protect Kagome so they will be at their strongest. Then throw Sesshomaru protecting his mate and the evil doesn't stand a chance. I love how Sesshomaru was told off for his attitude, maybe this is something that Inuyasha can help him understand and come up with a way to win Misery. Shippo is probably a better choice but I am not sure that Sesshomaru will listen to Shippo about this since he sees Shippo as a potential rival. Now to the new evil (you sure packed a lot into a couple of chapters, you should be proud of yourself). A new arch villain, there had to be one somewhere, with ties to Misery and her past. The mysterious mention of her grandfather and his ties to the new evil and Misery's feelings about him. I can't wait to hear this story, it promises to be good especially with the clues left in reference to Misery's mother and grandmother. I can't wait to see if Sesshomaru knows the grandfather or Cernonnus and his opinions of either or both. It might help his relationship with Misery if he condemns the grandfather's actions that upset Misery.

Hmmm...I might have been wrong about playing with fire...more like powder kegs! Kagome needs to be careful how quickly she pushes Inuyasha. He never has been very good at dealing with his emotions and it'll take him a while to accept the changes in how men and women interact in the modern era. You suprised me with Sesshomaru's reaction. I figured since he had lived through the last 500 years that he would be less likely to act on instinct alone. Of course, inu are VERY protective and VERY possesive of their mates or intended mates. So is the club plan still on after the fiasco at the beach? Can't wait to see!
