this was a captivating chapter. the concern, in the beginning, for the effects of inuyasha's transformation was well done. i loved the way sesshoumaru stood to protect kagome, just as he promised. i liked kagome's righteous indignation over not being allowed to go with the others, but i think it could have been developed a little more. but the ending had me laughing out loud. thank you for a fantastic chapter

Noooooo.....not the EARS!!!!! *wimpering* Oh fiddlesticks....*sigh*....I guess I'm just going to have to get used to his new look too. Hmmm...a profile pic maybe inorder (email you 'bout the details later *giggling*) to get myself reaquainted with Inu. I guess Inu is in the 'dog house' as far as Kags is concerned. He should have kept his mouth shut while he was ahead! At least the bed is better than the floor. The Inu brothers are going to have a tough time with their mates (pissing off someone with extensive weapons knowledge and someone with enough purification power to incinerate them in her left pinky finger, is not always a wise move). Have a funny feeling that if the 'boys' push the 'girls' enough they might get the idea to do thier own re-con missions. Like to see the looks on thier faces if it comes to that. I do have to say I like the bantering between the brothers. Each getting thier digs in at the others expense. Ahhhh...brotherly love...it's a beautiful thing! *smirk*

Reading through again (I just can't sleep, I'm actually thinking long and hard about your story) my heart goes out to Kagome and Misery. The two of them understand why they have to stay behind, but I can't imagine it makes them feel much more than absolutely useless. Kagome's always felt "less than" everybody else (the whole "Kikyou" thing never really helped her self-esteem), now Misery is forced to hide while others may die for her cause. I get the odd feeling the Inu brothers are going to be lucky to be welcomed into their rooms, much less to sleep on the floor. Somebody's gonna be sharing the couch! Haha, I just wrote your 100th review! Woo!

Awww, I was debating holding out so I could have the honor of leaving your 100th review, but I'm afraid I'll forget. Man, I understand InuYasha and Sesshomaru wanted to keep Kagome and Misery safe, but the two of them are just really NOT winning points. Kagome's always suffered from feelings of inadequacy. I really like how you're portraying her - she's not OOC but she's rightously pissed off. That being said - I'm working on my own fanfiction right now, and as part of it, I'm making comments and recommendations to other stories I love. This is one I'm following almost religiously. Would you be horribly upset if Misery made a super-small cameo (as one of future-Shippou's friends)? I'd be willing to email you with the idea I had. I certainly don't want to step on your toes at all, but I'd love to give her a mention, and then a shout-out to "Darkness" in my A/N. :) (Of course, I won't be offended if you say no!)

Ohhh....Sesshy complimented Kagome and Inuyasha!!! In the same day!?!? Boy, I....wait a minute, where did that come from??? Fluffy and white....OMG!!!! this was a very intense, but uplifting chapter. everyone has made up their minds to be ready to fight the enemy, and the determination to give their all was inspiring. but they all have their own fears, too. i love the dichotomy of the setting! i would assume that something major will happen soon, as mention of the new moon coming that night was made a few times. i wait, with great anticipation, to find out what it will be. thank you for a great chapter.

Good chapter. I'm glad that Midoriko was able to help Misery. But, my favorite part was the reconciliation between Inuyasha and sesshoumaru. Talk about LONG overdue. I know that things aren't completely settled between the two of them, but this is a great start. It just goes to show how much love can change someone; I definitely like Sessh better now, lol.

At least Kags didn't purify everyone...Cernonnus better watch his ass because he's going to lose it the hard way. *grinning* I felt so bad for Misery and Sess. Finally getting the intimacy they both are craving for and having that bastard Cernonnus ruin it. (and destroying Tokyo and millions of people to boot!!!) AARRGGHH!!!! I could kick him ass at this moment, nevermind Sess!!! Ohhhh....I hope he gets what coming to him, real soon!!! *breathing in* Sorry, got a little carried away. (hehheehhe) My inner demon is howling in contempt of that arrogant imbecile! Good chapter. I hate that millions of people died to do it.....but it's good that Kagome's power has fully awakened. I think it's clear now that Cernonnus pissed off the wrong people. He made some SERIOUSLY powerful enemies when he came after Misery this time. And I sincerely hope it gets him killed. Anyone who would kill millions of people just because he was haveing a temper tantrum doesn't deserve to exist. I can't wait to see how they take him down. By the way, I loved the scene with Sessh and Misery before Cernnonus interefered. I had my doubts about them at first...but now they fit together really well.

holy crap! i wanted more!! the drama!! who wouldnt have changed if their families died... if i was Kagome, damn i would be chucking something >.< but if Kagome's powers are out of control (well what i got at the end) would that mean their all in danger of Kagome purify them?? dont be long with the next chapter ^^ got me all excited :P
