This is nice deviation from the Kagome fighting Kikyou for the same guy fics that are the usual. I really like this idea of the two girls becoming friends. Sango is great as the mutual friend to both. Since she is such a good friend of Kagome's and Miroku is a close friend to Inuyasha it should be easy for the two of them to meet fall in love. Sango won't have to be jealous of them for long after that. I also like how hard it was for the guys to let their soon-to-be mates go for the night. It almost looked like Inuyasha wasn't going to let Kagome go. I am curious as to which guy will be first since they both arranged noon meets. Kagome's period of insecurity and fear that Inuyasha changed his mind was so true to her character. It highlighted her insecurity and Inuyasha's shyness about talking about feelings. Inuyasha did well to let her know quickly how he truly feels. I am looking forward to the Festival and the aftermath very much and can hardly wait for it.

Great story. I'm a new reader, and I LOVE this story so far. As many fan fics as I've read, I've never seen a Kouga/Kikyo pairing. How unique and fun! You did a really good job with that. And I really like Inuyasha and Kagome together, too, in this story. That is my absolute favorite pairing anyway, (so I am a bit biased), but I still like what you did with them anyway. I look forward to reading more soon.

great update... glad that inuyasha & kagome have settled things as well as kouga & kikyo too... and nice that kagome & kikyo are friends thanks to sango... wonder what happens at the festival... should be interesting... update when you can... please and thank you...

Inuyasha didn't do too bad of a job explaining the situation to Kagome but he needs to finish explaining what is going to happen tomorrow. It was funny seeing Kagome flipping out a bit about Inuyasha knowing Kouga. I still think it will be funny if Kagome and Inuyasha run into Kikyou and Kouga at the Spring Fever festival. It is starting to sound as if Kagome won't be going home tonight since Inuyasha is getting so possessive and his demon is talking more. I can't wait to see what happens next. I am glad you updated this story.

Glad to see your back! You're still doing a great job. I see a couple little grammatical errors, but you are staying with your story line very well. I think it is going to be very interesting when both couples run into each other at the spring gathering. And I really like the idea of putting Kouga and Kikyo together. It just seems right.
