You are so EVIL! I'm sitting at my computer screen despairing over the fact that Inu might die...and then good ol' Uncle Souta comes up with Kagome's jewel shards. I'm guessing those fell off when Envy tore her shirt? Anyway, I'm glad they found an alternative. Now Inu might be able to fully restore his youki and Al will be fit enough to pursue Kagome some more(and kick some Envy ass...or whatever Kaggie leaves of it, lol). I don't see him taking the news of her capture too lightly, though. So the reaction should be pretty interesting. This is really only one of maybe 2 or 3 FMA fanfics I've ever read so I haven't seen much about how he's portrayed but based on the series you definetely have him in character. And I agree..in both the manga and anime he's hinted towards a more stubborn, temperamental side of himself that rivals even Ed's. He just knows how to keep it in check better. At the beginning of the FMA movie too he proved to be a capable alchemist as well and even knows how to transmute parts of his soul into inanimate objects..it'd be pretty cool if he did that here. Loved the chapter! And nice save, though I'm sure there'll be more near-deaths, and as you mentioned, deaths in later chapters that'll have me biting my nails all over again. So evil...lol ;) ~Amber

Inu's dedication is AMAZING but I really hope he doesn't die! As for Kagome rescuing herself, I'm all for that! Most fanfics make her so helpless like she's some damsel in distress but it's not like that in the anime or manga. She is the reincarnation of a great and powerful priestess and has quite a few of her own kickass moves. Let's hope she uses them ;) Till next update! ~Amber

Ooh...now Ed hints towards some of his insecurities. Interesting. But he better hope InuYasha and the gang don't find out that Envy attacked them because of him or else he'll really be in trouble. I can see Yash turning Tessaiga on him, rusted or transformed, especially since Kagome is involved...AGAIN. But hopefully she'll be okay. Sneaky little Al...asking her out on that date. As for the fight scene...WOW! I remembered thinking halfway through "When is Sango gonna hit him?" and then, literally, the next sentence that I read was of her screaming "Hiraikotsu!" And that was worthy of a little cheer/dance, lol. I was a little surprised though that Tessaiga didn't transform when Inu went to help Kagome. It usually does when he has a strong desire to help humans(especially Kaggie)...and it's happened when he was weak in the series but I'm not sure if youki affects that or not...I think Yash should've dropped his sword on purpose when Envy attacked instead of holding onto it tighter. You know...to unleash demon InuYasha on him. Then again, that'd mean bye bye Envy and no more story to keep me on edge and we can't have that, can we? Oh wells. Loved the chapter! OMG! Fight scene! I can't wait! Especially since Yash can't transform Tessaiga or do his iron reaver thingy and Ed just left to gather firewood. They're doomed.. On the subject of Yash, though: AWWWW... He has all those insecurities and it doesn't help that Al is puttin' the moves on Kagome right in front of him. I hope he really isn't pushing her away..OR that he doesn't find out about the kiss! But the fight scene has me more on the edge of my seat right now than the little triangle going on, soooooooooooooo..till your next update! ~Amber

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww...poor InuYasha! If only he would tell Kagome half the things he was thinking! It's so sweet how he wants to be their protector! Hmmm...so Envy is heading to the village Inu and the gang just left? I hope Shippou, Kaede, and the others will be okay..unless he meets up with the Inu gang halfway. Or did he not leave yet? Okay, so it's safe to say Naraku doesn't know about Edward and Alphonse, yet. But if he wanted to get the jewel back he really should have sent Envy after Sesshiles. Unless he has some greater plan? That clever little bean...By the way...Does Envy still have a vendetta against the brothers now that Hoenheilm(sp?) is dead? If he does then the confrontation should prove very interesting, especially if Yash is still in his human state when Envy gets there. Also, I laughed SO hard at "creature comforts". Envy fits into the role of a spoiled rotten daimyo PERFECTLY and I can actually see him chucking the jewel if he gets too annoyed with it. He should really be more perceptive of his surroundings though. Apparently, he isn't the only shape-shifter in town. I loved it, till your next chappie! :) ~Amber

if one considers that since his name is Inu Yasha and being japanese... surname first and all that, then his family name is Inu and his personal name is Yasha. one would consider that since his sire was Inu no Taisho (dog general/leader) it only makes sense. besides, he wanted to be full youkai so he would probably accept being called 'yasha' as opposed to calling him 'dog'. . . ♣ ♥ ♦ ♠ ... see, i can do all kinds of characters in HTML but i want to do stars!! . . . look alchemy! β δ ω ξ . . . a visit from kouga could prove quite amusing. ~ couldn't resist, i'm so used to reviewing and subsequent silliness. ginny

LOL! Al cracks me up, especially when he gets all stubborn. And I laughed so hard when he suggested that Roy might be gay. Riza might pop him one if that ever happened... So all in all the "talk" didn't go so well. And now I'm feeling bad for both Al and Inu. I don't see Al's plan to take Kagome back to Risembol(sp??) working out and Inu has to deal with WAY too many suitors. All we need are Kouga and Houjo to magically pop up and he can call it a day...poor guy. Btw...Houjo and Al are pretty similar, personality and kinda looks wise. It would've been cool to see you do something similar like what you did with Roy and Uncle Souta. But at the same time Houjo can act like a weenie sometimes...NOTHING like Al when he's in a stubborn mood. However, in persistence? They both get perfect tens. Anyway, keep writing! that's just too cute, unconscious snuggling... lets see if yasha starts with the whole denial of his affections thing. . . won't naraku be much easier to eliminate now he no longer has the jewel? one wonders why envy didn't eat naraku when he had the chance instead of just taking the jewel and leaving; surely he would have sensed all the youkai naraku was made of... maybe naraku would have absorbed him from the inside, talk about heartburn. . . i still think the youki transplant would work just like she could use her reiki to purify youki and mend minor injuries they can infuse their youki to help yasha to regain his... what about laying tessaiga next to him, it has its own youki too plus whatever it absorbed with its 'dragon scale' transformation? (don't worry i'm always doing this with the authors i beta for and they just ignore me or use what they want). o.t.:wonder what kind of power tessaiga would absorb from envy or if the dragon scale transformation would work on him, does he even have youketsu as he is not youkai? . . . sango is 'taijiya' (youkai exterminator), you used every other term but that one. . . one wonders what kind of mess ed is going to make of the whole 'sex' talk with little brother. . . great chapter, i especially liked the snuggly yasha. ~ salutations, ginny

Dude, Yash is so faking it -_- lol. Not that I'm complaining. This chappie was loaded with teh squishy moments. Can't wait till he wakes up, though, so they can go after Envy (one of my favorite FMA characters..though I like him better in the manga). I guess that's IF his youki is replenished. And yes..matters of the heart. Miroku would know a lot about that wouldn't he? Especially since he gropes anything with a heartbeat...poor Sango. Al, too. It must be tough watching Kagome keep vigil over Yash. Oh well...Till next chap! :) ~Amber

it may take a while but his youki will replenish itself... maybe kirara and shippo could project some of their youki around him (a youki transfusion!), nekomata and kitsune youki is youki, right? at least it may help stabilize him until his builds up on its own. so now they know the shards definitely work with alchemy and yasha no longer needs to risk life and limb... oh, he does that all the time (what was i thinking?). poor al, it would never have worked, it's bad enough to be from two separate times but add different dimensions to the mix... . . . wow he KISSED HER HAND!! what is the equivalent of that?! it's very nearly having SEX!! ...for yash. . . great chapter, i'm all high on caffeine and bouncing off the walls, that and i have a tendency to verbosity anyway. Damn it! Equivalent exchange just had to ruin it! I hope Yash doesn't stay like that permanantly...unnnnlleeesss his being like that leads to more squishy moments like that hand-kiss. That was so cute! But I feel bad for Al. He's no quitter, though. As for Ed, I LOLed when Al scolded him. Doesn't Ed know: respect your tallers! Till tommorow's chap! It'll be interesting to see Uncle Souta's reaction to the Sengoku era. He seemed a little shocked in that well scene. Hopefully he doesn't faint...cuz then Kaggie'll NEVER get Yash out of that well!
