This has got to be one of my favourite fanfictions. I love it so much that I'm now in the process of rereading it after half a year. This is the first fanfic I've ever reread. The story is so creative and each of your characters is unique and well fleshed out. Thank you for writing such a great story. |

wow that was great! it had me at the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. there were some interesting plot twists, that's for sure. i really liked the ending. normaly i like tragedies better but that ust fit so perfectly! great, now i wanna rewrite my old fanfic. gotta get to work now, so thanks for the awesome read!

wow, either he'll be rehabilitated or he's going to end up completely animal crackers and obsessed (even more than he was to begin with). one always hopes for the best (i am forever the optimist but unlike kagome, i'm also a realist who knows of the devistation of mental illness-- beware the reality challenged!). good one, poor yasha-- he wanted to eliminate him. maybe trace will be fit to be a good mate when he does get out (could it be that megumi is subconsciously waiting for him?) ♥

I feel sorry for Megumi and her having to lose the memories of being in love but I can understand why Mayumi made that decision. I also feel sorry for Daichi and all he is missing. He must feel betrayed to some extent at all Mayumi is hiding from him. The picture idea was a good one, I can see that one coming in the future and of course Kagome will have her family pictures on one. She must be very careful with which ones she shows Mayumi, it wouldn't do to show her one from the future. I am curious as to what Mayumi plans to do to trap Trace. I also am curious as to what happens to Mayumi that causes her to go to the future and not return. I can't wait to see what happens next.

trace doesn't realize that his big mouth is going to be his undoing. that you never tell your enemies what your weaknesses are. the second world war slogan "loose lips sink ships" is quite apropos. ♣ too bad she couldn't go back and ask her grampa. ♥

Now Trace should be shaking in his boots over what he let slip to Mayumi. She now knows that her family can hurt him and I am sure that it won't take long for them to figure out how. She just has to explain to her father that she met his father by time traveling further into the past. That is going to be a large temptation for Inuyasha to be able to meet his father. I just hope dad doesn't air the "anti-hanyou" garbage in Inuyasha's hearing if Inuyasha does go back. And they have a ready made "trap" for Trace when everyone guesses how to hurt him. They just have to let Trace think he found a way to get to the jewel. I think it is going to be an interesting confrontation. And poor Daichi is being kept in the dark about so much. Is that going to be when he loses Mayumi? I can't wait to find out.

some people just don't pay attention *shakes head* and i'm not just talking about your story. ♣ such a wonderful twist. i'm thinking midoriko didn't have kids as she was a maiden miko-- but could have had siblings who may have founded the taijia village? therefore the miko rin and taijia kohaku being kagome's/mayumi's ancestors. ? and of course whether izayoi had powers-- and we all know about inu-no-taisho [gramps, lol] was where yasha got his powers. ♦ one is wondering if fenn is going to become involved in trace's defeat? ♥

Interesting confrontation between Trace and Mayumi. It answered some of the questions about Trace's origins and motivations. I am sure that as soon as Inuyasha learns of this he is going to confront Fenn about the whole thing. I am sure Fenn is up for an uncomfortable confrontation. In some ways I can't wait to see what is happening in the modern era and how Kagome and Inuyasha are dealing with all the grandkids that they have through Mayumi. It should be especially interesting for Kagome to have grandchildren that are older than she is. But I also don't want to see that because it means this story will be over.

I laughed at Mayumi's meeting with the priest. And Daichi's reactions to guns was hilarious also. Sesshomaru needs to get a new human representative quickly. The encounter with Trace was intriguing and set all kinds of possibilities going in my head. Inuyasha's reaction to Mayumi's encounters was spot on, he would find the priest funny and get angry about Trace. I feel he will be hanging out more in the past to watch over his daughter.

a great book to read: 'sho♦gun' by james clavell~ ♣ one wonders why the 'strange youkai' doesn't elaborate so that she can at least consider his reasons. compliance can be obtained if the explanation is good enough. cryptic responses will not work. ♠ love the 'typical guy' responses. ♥

both time lines keep progressing and pretty soon should catch up to the time kagome first starts going back. one wonders if the 'bad youkai' will be trying to cause problems with that.-- or if he can. ♥

what sweet sorrow is the life we live:) i can't belive what has happened! it must be hard for kagome not to be able to live with her grandchildren and see them grow:( and not even to attend her granddaughter's wedding how sad...keep up the awesome work:) this deserves a 20 not a 10 but thats all it will let me give:)

This was a very good conclusion to Kazuki's side story of being in the past. It tied everything up well and left no loose ends, at least none that I noticed. Though I feel bad for his kids because they lose both parents and the only grandparents that they know so quickly together. It was a touching scene in how you described Sango and Kagome not noticing that Kagome hasn't aged and that they treated each other as the close friends that they were. I was glad to hear that Kagome had at least one child that shared her love of education and became the doctor she dreamed of becoming. I do hope that he is happy as a doctor and wasn't pushed into it to make his mother happy though. Inuyasha will always watch over his kids and help them to the best of his ability, no matter how old they become. The only things left to deal with is the strange time traveling youkai and Mayumi herself. And maybe an addition of Mayumi's grandfather and Midoriko. I just realized that Mayumi now doesn't have anyone to send to the future for help, was that one of the reasons that you sent Kazuki away? To force Mayumi to the future to get her father and mother to help deal with the bad guy?

the time police! with claws and teeth. one wonders why he's just insisting she return instead of just destroying her, with enough of his 'youkai' her could. i guess she's going to have to be leaving soon, one wonders which way in time she'll disappear to.
