I hope Inuyasha didn't kill Mayumi's date when he showed up without her, though it was good of him to go there and face the music from her family and presumably make sure she arrived home alright. The scene with Uncle Dai becoming Dai was great, it must be hard on him watching his mate grow up and fall in love with his younger self. It is really going to be hard on him when she goes to the past and lives with the past him. I happily look forward to the next chapter.

now that i think about it who is the mysterious youki that has been in both worls??? i have a few theories, like inuyasha's dad, that's why it knew their names! or maybe not...:( will we ever know??? you have gone so far in this series!!! i love it i have read from the beginning till now!!! starting from kagome and inuyasha at school then them getting the house to kagome finding out that rin is related to her...to her being pregnate with kazuki and mayumi and getting lost in timethen preg with koij ahhh the memories!!!:) keep on writing.....(this should be a book..wish all this really did happen)

Woot new update so quickly!! I am still giggling about how disappointed Mayumi is with having to spend time with "Uncle Dai" while sneaking off to spend time with Daichi in the past. Thank you for including some Mayumi/Daichi time. It was good to see their interaction, his reaction to her being hanyou and the fact that they protected Hiroshi by not making him do the patrol alone. The way they did it allowed Hiroshi to maintain his honor but still watch out for him. I wouldn't have been surprised if the adults in the village hadn't done the same things the first few times the boys went on patrol. I look forward to the rest of the story and to see how Mayumi and Daichi's relationship develops and the outcome of it all.

I loved it! i like how Diechi gets so worried about mayumi:) and how inuyasha gets so protective, i like how inuyasha and kagome still know how one can't stay away from the other:)keep on writing! can't wait for the next chapter!

I really liked seeing the interaction of Mayumi and her friends getting her ears pierced. Dai had a great reaction and way of rescuing her from it. It was also great to see the hints of the future relationship between Dai and Mayumi when they were talking about her security, though I would have liked to see some snippets of time spent with past Dai. If Mayumi wants to stop wearing the kerchief she could try a wide headband, it should work to conceal her ears if carefully placed and pinned. You really have my interest piqued about who the youkai is that has come back. I can think of several possibles and I am curious as to which one it is.

Nice segue between past Dai and future Dai. I can understand both his action of attempting to give her the rabbit and his reaction to her calling him "uncle". And Inuyasha was being so normally over protective that he really was clueless as to what he might have done wrong. The complaints from Inuyasha about the smell from the wolves and Mayumi liking the smell says a lot about her future relationship with them. Is some of the wolves that came over actually descended from Mayumi and will they give the relationship away? I can't wait to see how you answer these questions in future chapters.

The playground teasing is so perfect it is great. I liked the scene with Inuyasha taking his daughter into the woods to comfort her and to reinforce the care not to be seen and to not hurt others. It is about time poor Kagome gets the degree that she has been working on for so long. I was a little surprised that none of her/their friends were there for the graduation. I would like to know what Peter, Noroki and the others are doing now. Maybe you can bring them in later for later.
