I was a little surprised that he didn't recognize his scent being part of Mayumi's though. I am very intrigued that the bad guy went into the past before Midoriko and when Sesshomaru was a baby. I can't wait to see what the purpose to this time travel and why Mayumi loses Daichi at some point.

This should be interesting. And I wonder what plans Inuyasha and family are destroying for that Youkai. Does this have to do with why Mayumi leaves Daichi later. Some of the relationships are getting almost incestuous. Sango and Miroku's son and Mayumi's daughter, Rin and Kohaku's daughter with Daichi's brother and Rin and Kohaku's son being Kagome and therefore Mayumi and Kazuki's ancestor along with Kazuki marrying Miroku and Sango's daughter. The family tree has more cross pollination then a single sunflower in a field of daisies. I wonder how Inuyasha is going to take being so closely related to the wolves, even if it is mostly through marriage. I hope to be a fly on the wall when he finds out.

Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: February 25, 2009 13:28 EST Comment/Review: that is one thing that makes me upset about the 'iy' series although i have my own theories. i believe that when one 'mates' with youkai one gets benefit from the youki. one doesn't know just how old jinenji's mother but i think she is way way older than most old women, judging by the actions and maturity of her son. i'm thinking she may be at least a century old (he seems immature as yasha, who is a couple centuries old) so as long as her mate had survived, his youki had kept her from aging normally and slowly dissipating after his death. IMO --then again none of my favorites will ever age or die in my mind. ♣ i love the sly/selective senility that is typical totosai-- well written! ♦ of course it is his kotodama no nenju... one can see the fact that he may have a sentimental attachment to it but he wouldn't deny his daughter and grandchildren. ♥

It was funny to see Kagome say sit and have nothing happen to either Inuyasha or Mayumi. I am glad that Daichi and Mayumi patched up their quarrel so quickly, I bet at some point in the future Dai is going to be remembering this time with Totosai with new understanding about what was being said if he had listened. I am glad that the little one went to Kagome without much hesitation, it would have broken her heart if her grandchild rejected her.

Having her mother die must be hard on her. And poor Kazuki who realizes that his beloved will die much earlier than he will and possibly his children will too. The fight with the youkai was interesting but now you leaving us wondering exactly what they wanted from Mayumi. I hope that Mayumi and Daichi make up without damaging their relationship when she returns from Totosai. The way she left him echos of Kagome and Inuyasha arguments. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Probably because you want me to be. :-P I am starting to wonder if these are any relation to Fenn's or if they could be the ones that he thought he destroyed. I feel bad for Kagome and Inuyasha not knowing their one set of grandchildren and I feel sorry for the kids not knowing their grandparents. I hope they get to know one another in the future at some point. Though it seems as if Daichi and Mayumi are trying to repopulate the wolf pack on their own. They are lucky they are not having litters or they would be overrun with baby wolf hanyos. It was good to see how protective and considerate the wolves are of Mayumi too. I have a feeling that Inuyasha's sons are going to be more involved with fighting these new youkai, Kazuki in the past and Koji in the future. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

It was nice to see how her daily life was and how much of the 21st century girl she still was despite her choice to live in the feudal era. It was also wonderful for her to finally see Kagome and Inuyasha and allow them a chance to meet their grandson. I cannot wait to see what happens next! Great work!

It was especially nice to see the reconciliation between Mayumi and Kagome with Inuyasha looking on. It was interesting to see why the wolves didn't want the cubs to go to the human village, it would be hilarious to see Inuyasha's reaction to that fact considering how he views Fenn's "children" and their inclination to seeing humans as food. It goes to show how far he traveled from his own childhood since he probably had the same instincts. It would have been interesting to see her children's reactions to learn that they are related to Inuyasha, Kagome and Sesshomaru when they learn in the future. Were they present when she was growing up? That must have been weird for them to know she was a child somewhere. And the whole Kazuki side story is going to be interesting. I wonder where that bracelet is in the future. Does Kazuki ever take his kids to the future? I look forward to seeing what happens next.
