Woo-hoo! So much new information...oh yeah and an awesomely hot sex scene! But before I get to that...so Kagome would eventually die if not Mated to her True Mate? Does Sesshoumaru know that? Ugh, and I hate it when these mystic know-it-alls are always like 'you must discover this on your own'. What if she doesn't figure it out and dies, huh? Would not telling her be better then? LOL, anyway, something tells me that's not going to be a problem. She can't be unfaithful in her body, right? Isn't that what you've said before? So that thing she felt snapping, breaking and fading was her bond with Sesshoumaru, presumably. Good thing Inuyasha is her True Mate. I'm assuming Naraku is also one of the Chosen since he could draw out the jewel's power, and I'm sure we haven't heard the last of him yet, so that'll make for more drama soon enough. I got a little confused on the time line, though, because...and dismissing the Freudian slip of 'full moon' instead of 'new moon' because a lot of fanfic writers make that mistake for some reason...you had said that it was only a few days after his first human night that he wanted to meet with Kagome again, planning on pretending to be the 'human' Inuyasha while keeping to the shadows but of course she knew it was him and that whole challenge of the kiss ensued. Then he was laying there half-dead for what...three days? Then he was at Kaede's for like two... Shouldn't his human night still have been like two and a half more weeks away? I mean, I just figure maybe he was laid up for that long, but Naraku never came back in all that time? Well, I guess that makes sense because we've known Naraku to disappear for large spans of time before, so yeah, no worries. Even if that was just a boo-boo on your part I don't care, because this story is so flippin' awesome! I wasn't sure going in if they were actually going to end up going all the way, but it makes sense that she just couldn't stop himself and that he didn't have a mind to stop himself either, what with them being True Mates and all, even if she doesn't know it and he's in denial. I can't believe Kagome forgot something so important! That only one of the Chosen are her True Mate! I can get how the prophecy lessons were probably boring when she was a child, but that is a rather important bit of information to have not been paying attention about! Ugh, makes me want to smack her upside the head and say 'wake up!' Hehehe, and she knows things aren't right with Sesshoumaru, that they don't act like how Mates are supposed to act, and that he's fucking Kagura on the side...or at least was. Come on, Kagome! I hadn't been expecting a sex scene, per se, though I had been expecting a cute, awkward moment with blushing and inappropriate comments. But then, I guess waking up just in time to get attacked kind of spoiled the moment. Glad Sesshoumaru showed up, I guess, since he probably saved Kagome's life, though since it's clear he plans on killing Inuyasha again I guess that means the drama's not over yet!
