I would have given you perfet 10's, but you haven't updated in almost two years!!! Please finish it, I love this story! You're an amazing writer, and there aren't many Shigure/Tohru stories out there, so it'd be a shame for you to abandon this.

I hope you finish this! It's quite good, though Shigure is more than a tad OOC. But it fits the story, and I don't doubt that he COULD be excessively cruel if he lost control. Believe me when I say it's good, it kept me up until 5:00 AM reading, when I should have been writing an essay for class. Update it soon! (but don't neglect the ones on ff.net, like Spotted! and Full Course...I'm assuming you're the same merrow....)

I was starting to feel a little bogged down in the "let's torture Tohru some more" parts of the story in the beginning, but I really like how you have developed this plot into something so much more. Each of your characters is remaining true to how you originally portrayed them (and how they were in the manga), but the development and inclusion of more of the interior thoughts is a great bonus and helped me feel more sympathetic about a character I was beginning to dislike. I, like another reviewer, also really enjoyed the Uo/Kyo, Hana/Yuki hints. Very creative! Please update! I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of your story.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FINISH!!!! This story is excellent and I would loooooove to know the outcome between the characters!!! Oh and if u dont mind PLEASE talk about the seemingly budding relationships between Yuki and Hana and Kyo and Uo!!!I love your writing style and the storyline, and the way you make Shigure so evil somtimes and yet you just CAN'T hate him for it either!! Please finish i'm just estatic to hear the rest!!!!!! ^_^

I love this story even though it is a bit dark. The dark parts lead to some great dramatic moments so when people complain just ignore them. I believe that you have balanced the story well by having extremely sweet moments between the not so sweet. I really hope that you update because this is my favorite fruits basket fanfiction that I have read so far. (sending mind control waves)***you are going the update, you are going to update***

i read your fic at what i think years ago and i absolutely loved it! i even saved in my pc. however, my pc crashed and i lost all of my fave fics including yours. since then i looked for it. i have forgotten the title and all. i only remember the storyline. now i have found it again! yay! but i see that you havent written anything new.. why? do update, darling.

nicely done;) saw some spelling and grammar errors though:) reading it was like a roller coaster ride, in a sense it went exciting then abit *horrifying or unbelievable* (heez..:D) then sweet then maddening then soothing.. overall, it's great~;) i like the focus on white colour panties Tohru is always depicted as, purity then kinda tainted the next thing:) *reading the one u posted on 31 Mar 05*

I really like this continuation of Belated Gift. I think it is interesting to have a story that doesn't always focus on the "flowery" kind of love...Shigure always has had a darker side...you see glimpses of it every once in a while...and it is pretty sexy in a creepy way...keep it up. I can't wait to read the next chapter....
