JUST what I needed. I'm horribly ill just now...well, not horribly, just miserably, and signing on to another chapter of this beyond extradorniary fic (please excuse my spelling) made my night. *fixes Irish and Wildefyre with a glare* You'd BETTER fix things between my bois!!!! Don't make me come over there!!!! Gods...poor Ryo...poor everyone, but poor Ryo!!! I usually relate to Dee better, but *shakes head* I'm really looking forward to HOW you fix things...*meaningful look*
Really, I'd be happy to follow Drew and Lyn and Ryo and Dee for the rest of my natural life and into the next, so you have to write about them forever and ever and ever.

Excellen fanfic although it hurts to see how Ryo and Dee suffer. Nevertheless I have read all chapters and I must admit that you two have a talent for writing. And please, please update!!

That chapter was fully packed. I never would have thought that Dee would lash out at Andrew, much less abuse Ryo. I'm really appalled at his cruelty. That really came as a shock and almost even more so, breaking the property of other people and making a scene when young children were present. He sounds so lame with his "sorry". And the things he said!! And it wasn't a private fight either. He said those things in front of An and Lyn. How embarrassing for all of them but especially for Ryo, his sexual performance held up for ridicule. That was heavy! Still, families fight. I'd like to know why Dee reacted so strongly in assuming that Ryo screwed up. He, as much as anyone, whould know that justice isn't always served in a courtroom. It happens to a police officer's cases with depressing frequency. To me it seemed that maybe there was something deeper going on with Dee that even he didn't understand. I'd really like to see Dee's honest reactions in the aftermath of his outburst. I'd like to see Dee having a little one on one with his conscience.
It's true. Guys do that. Feeling unmasculine due to work stress? Lash out at your partner. Make your partner the whipping boy for your frustrations. Makes for an unequal marriage. Women do it too.
One of my favorite parts of this chapter was Lyn was talking about his family in Ireland and how you get to his home.
I'd like Lyn to open up to Ryo on what it is to invite abuse or at least his understanding of it. Lyn's a lawyer who counsels against abuse and yet sought it out. Ryo has some masochistic tendencies in this story. Enabling.

Whoa, that was a rude awakening for Ryo. Yeah, if I thought there were going to be any morning after lovey-dovey shenanigans, he and I were both sorely mistaken. I'd like to smack J.J. and kick Berkley's balls over a goal post. And now the vicious press all over this like maggots. Oh, God, if Dee's pride was wounded before when so few knew about the case, imagine how he'll feel with the sordid details revealed in sensationalof media hype. Man, if I were Dee, I'd be back at the orphanage sobbing on Penguin's shoulder right now asking for help. I'd really love to see Dee clean Berkley's clock. This was a very angsty update, a bit of a shock, like a pail full of ice water in the face after the sweetness of the night before. Not that I'm objecting. Bikky seems nicer. I like that. Dee was so adorable fixing breakfast for his lover even though he had performance anxiety. Nice to see Lyn in full intimidation mode. I'd like to see Ryo more confident about handling Berkley's advances. Isn't there a support group he can go to? I'm not quite sure why Ryo is such an easy mark when it comes to Berkley. Ryo is passive/aggressive when he needs to assert himself with the man and show him what's unacceptable behavior. It must be something from Ryo's past that he hasn't resolved yet. Your update was unbelievably fast. I think you posted the update in less time than it took for the page to open on this unbelievably slow site. FF.net is deceptively fast. It took me very quickly several times to the page where your story should have been and said,"sorry schmuck, come back in a "few" minutes. So, it must have been hard for you to upload, so thanks so much for the update and your patience in posting it. I read this chapter a few times with interest. There was a lot of going on. I wish Dee could show a little more heroism. With the way, he's been acting, he's kind of hard to like. I thought Lyn in this chapter was judgmental and interfering. He who is without sin...I mean, Lyn has a past. Where does he get off trying to get Ryo to dump Dee? I also thought he was condescending to Dee. I love the story, but I didn't like either of them much in this chapter. They were trying to be friendly, but it looked like hard work. Is it that Lyn and Dee have similar personalities that makes them clash? First things...oh, this chapter had me grinning and sighing with relief. God what a relief!!!!Dee and Ryo kissing. The King of Blushes in his element. The good feeling among the four of them---there was a lot to like in this chapter and I liked it all. Just to clarify the matter of your output. You guys aren't slow at updating. Not even remotely. As a reader, I feel spoiled, but hopefully, not rotten. Thanks so much. Don't let your personal lives suffer on my account, but you obviously get a kick out of writing the story, so bring on the next chapter with all it's lemon-fresh joy as soon as humanly possible. Oh, man! Much of this was just so sad! That first scene between Dee and Ryo--so much pain. I really felt for Dee--his awful sense of shame and self-loathing. And Ryo so lost without Dee.
