This was a very exciting chapter. I particularly liked the ghost helping Kagome; I thought it was very true to the spirit of the canon. I also thought the councilor killing the lord because the councilor's first duty was to the family seemed very true to samurai culture as I understand it. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. There were a couple of rough spots. Kept the dagger, return it to me, someday. -- I think it should be "Keep". "The guards begin to pour from some of the secondary entrances of the main house. (The main entrances are where the lion-dog's are at, so no one is using them.) Some also come from the building along the inside of the outer wall." -- This paragraph seemed awkward to me. It seemed like you were breaking the 4th wall when you explained how the main entrances were blocked.

I thoroughly enjoy al of your stories, and would like to see the ending to this one. I tried looking through all of your stories to see if you had written a Kagome/Miroku fic, but I couldn't find one. Typically I don't liek the way people portray any of the characters (mainly because they end up lookkng like two-dimensional characters) but I thoroughly enjoy how you portray the cahracters and find creative ways to test their morals and help us, the readers, gain insight into their character.
