hey there- glad to hear that your freind is doing okay and you are back writing again. Don't let bad reviews get you down. If I were you I wouldn't take harsh criticism seriously from people who may not have had the courage to put their own writing out there for other people to critique. I have enjoyed the fanfics of yours that I have read so far and look forward to seeing what comes next.

i... i don't know how it should go. i'm compleatly torn. @.@ it's so sad! *sniff* i can't believe anyone would ever tell you that this story is bad, while it may be sad and depressing, bad it is most deffinatelly not. it is perhaps the only angst Inuyasha/Kagome story i have ever read. i tend to avoid them, life is sad enough without sad stories. but you were already on my favorite authors list, and it's such a good story! that and once i started reading it i couldn't stop! i had to know how it ended. thank you for up dating! and don't worry too much about taking so long, as much as i want to know what happens i almost dred to read more cause it's so sad. almost makes me cry, and i hardly ever cry (it's a small problem i have). up date soon and keep up the good work!!!!

wow this is an awesomely compelling fanfic. i was crying. you have to write more! geeze i agree with inuyasha100 he should try suicide. it would be interesting. this is great keep going with the story man! geeze i love this stuff...really powerful =)

The track you picked is exactly the one I would have chosen. She should rest, then continue the hunt w/ Mir+Sango. It would be cool for IY to keep doing things without letting anyone know (like get and leave food and other assorted items), but of course Kag won't be interested (at first). The clincher could be if she gets into trouble (in battle for instance), and IY kills the demon, but never even acknowledges Kag (kind of a "guadian angel" deal). I think after a while of that WITHOUT him in her face, she'll be able to heal, and see all the wonderful things he does out of love and kindness. WAFFy isn't it? (I love that stuff ^_^) Oh, and I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I know how you feel. Someone very close to me just got back, he was there for almost 2 yrs... and I have another friend there still. So as far as I'm concerned, you are forgiven for not updating. If I were in your position, I wouldn't have either. I eagerly await your next update!

I just found this story and it's incredibly angsty! But I mean that in a good way.:) It's great and I can't wait for the next part. The only thing that I'm not quite sure about is that some of the characters' dialogue doesn't seem to fit them, but that's a miniscule concern of mine.:P Keep up the wonderful writing!

I'm really glad that you decided to continue with this fanfic. Writing as a hobby is something I've struggled with, especially when it comes to fanfiction, because sometimes a few very negative reviews can make you reluctant to continue. I'm relieved that you've conquered that experience, and I'm excited that this storyline is going to live on! Please, never let other people deprive you of the fun of writing fanfics or your faithful readers of, well, reading them! Great chapter, update soon!
