Ah, a fellow FSU student, eh? No wonder we all need more sleep -- we stay up all night reading and writing fanfic ;). I felt like there was a little lack of concern for Kagome in Ch 5. More of the angst seems to be pushed to Inuyasha... I dunno, it just seemed a bit unbalanced to me. Can't wait to see how things turn out though, so update soon :).

Oh, one more thing! This is actually kind of a disheartening review list. I almost don't want to continue with the story and just delete the whole thing. I mean do you guys even like the story? I mean if not then tell me and I won't waste precious man hours writing the thing.

Okay okay! I have to make a few things clear! First and foremost, this is just a story! This is not a biology book! Secondly, I never said when Kagome would start her period and the cramping was just for effect! For all everyone knows it could be gas! A lot of women experience discomfort in their stomaches the week before they start PMSing...the week they are most likely to get pregnant! I also use the words "most likely"! If you were to actually study it...a woman can get pregnant ANY day of the month, but their is a certain period of time where it is most likely to happen. I hope that cleared a few things up! Again, don't take things so literally. I mean in real life, are there priestesses with extraordinary powers?

Another cliffhanger? All I can say is that an update had better be swift and forthcoming; the last one was so late, I had to review the earlier chapters to figure out where we were. Other readers may not be so willing to continue reading a fic that they're lost on, due to a long time between updates. (Sorry to be critical! I have trouble updating anything I write!!! Tests suck, huh?) Anyway, I do have good news, in response to a review by another reader (Little John, I do believe?) There are some women (one of my best friends included) who have horrible cramps a full week before their periods and any bleeding, due to a some kind of spoke in their menstral cycle. Thus, from my understanding, the female in question could still become pregnant, despite pre-emptive cramping, and your story is validated. If I am wrong: who cares? This is a great, well-written story, and I certainly wouldn't knock off any points for some biological slip-up. This is fiction; fiction is art, and there is really no way to ascribe a number to art anyway. If you feel it necessary to address this potential error: don't. This is your story, your readers obviously enjoy your work, and to attempt to alter anything or make a retraction at this late date is ridiculous. Just keep the updates coming and keep your mind on the story itself. That's what we're reading for, not a crash course in the idiocyncracies of the female body!!! Sorry, Little John! ^_^

Well, I like very much this story and you were EVIL, pure EVIL to stop here! But your timing is wrong: when we girls have our 'time of month', it's because the egg isn't fertilized, and it die, going out of our body with the blood we lose in our cycle. We are in heat about 2 weeks before the time of month.... please keep it in mind. but for the rest, it's ok ^_~ update as soon as you, please!

Ok, now she's in trouble. Will she be able to stop him in time? Will stop him self? Or will she get raped and then he feel that she won't want him any more? This is just too much. He has waited for so long for some one to love him unconditionally then his youkai wants to take over and ruin things. I keep checking back to see whats going to happen.

I'm not a girl myself so I fully admit my knowledge in this area is second-rate at best.. but it was my understanding that the cramps and bleeding was from the egg not being fertilized and so dying, with the blood stage being when the body rejects the dead egg. In other words if Kagome is cramping and having 'her time of the month' then it is about a week past her 'heat' cycle. If I'm right about that belief that I've been given from various documentaries then it really kills this otherwise enjoyable story. Also if you're really a girl like the author name suggests I don't understand how you could make that mistake.. it's something I thought only a guy could make. On the other hand I suppose it's possible that everything I learned from TLC, Discovery, The Science Channel, and PBS was off and you are in the right in which case I would duely apologize to you for this entire rant. I very much doubt it however. But until I find out conclusively one way or the other I'm not going to rate this story since I'd rate it differently depending upon whether I was right or you were.

Okay, so maybe the math doesn't quite add up on the overall rating, but this is a great fanfic!!! Darn you for pulling that cliffhanger!!! I am really enjoying this story, a different spin on the idea of demon/human mating seasons and rituals. Please update soon!
