To quote that stupid song: "luuuuuv hurts!!!!" Clearly, you love to write fanfiction, and often times, there are people out there who don't appreciate what they are reading. So what if you got some negative reviews?? This story is still at ten for ten in my book (possibly an 11 after that last angst filled chapter, poor Inuyasha), and from scrolling briefly through the rest of the reviews, it appears as though a lot of people feel the same way I do. Please, don't stop working on this piece, just because of a few, over-opinionated...people!!! I also read "The New Student and Kagome's Secret", and whereas I like the latter, "In the Heat of Passion" has a greater depth to it, and I would certainly hate to see it suffer. I'm a student at the University of Tennessee; I'm in a sorority, and this is homecoming week. Believe me, I know how time consuming college life gets, but you're doing some great work here! Keep it up! Update soon!

I really felt bad for Inuyasha after reading this chapter, but I think Kagome's reaction was great :) I can't imagine how she is going to forgive him and work this out... in the future she will always be afraid to be with him, right? Anyways.. I am reading you other story too, I love both of them!!! :)

Ah, a fellow FSU student, eh? No wonder we all need more sleep -- we stay up all night reading and writing fanfic ;). I felt like there was a little lack of concern for Kagome in Ch 5. More of the angst seems to be pushed to Inuyasha... I dunno, it just seemed a bit unbalanced to me. Can't wait to see how things turn out though, so update soon :).

Oh, one more thing! This is actually kind of a disheartening review list. I almost don't want to continue with the story and just delete the whole thing. I mean do you guys even like the story? I mean if not then tell me and I won't waste precious man hours writing the thing.

Okay okay! I have to make a few things clear! First and foremost, this is just a story! This is not a biology book! Secondly, I never said when Kagome would start her period and the cramping was just for effect! For all everyone knows it could be gas! A lot of women experience discomfort in their stomaches the week before they start PMSing...the week they are most likely to get pregnant! I also use the words "most likely"! If you were to actually study it...a woman can get pregnant ANY day of the month, but their is a certain period of time where it is most likely to happen. I hope that cleared a few things up! Again, don't take things so literally. I mean in real life, are there priestesses with extraordinary powers?
