Wow. I’ve probably never read and then reread any fanfic as many
times as I have with this one. Truly fantastic writing. Great
character building. All showing, no telling, overall A+ writing. I
cried, I giggled, and I was 100% enthralled with this story. Here’s
to hoping you’re still writing and crafting new tales!

I first want to say how impressed I was with your writing. I
thought I was reading a real novel instead of FanFiction. The story
was heart wrenching-ly painful. Your Sesshomaru was so spot on. You
are so talented.

Iâ€͐ 2;m not going to fish on and on about how good
this is - though it is far beyond simply good. I
don’t have enough words to describe how
achingly beautiful this story is. I enjoy stories with emotion and
your way of capturing and making the reader feel true, human, and
poignant emotions is unrivalled.

I don't know how many times, I don't know how often, I don't
remember the last time, I don't remember if I have ever. I know I
have read Fugue, several times, however, I don't know how many. I
have read it before, and as always I find myself amazed, however I
don't remember how often. When was the last time? I can't recall,
but I know I have always love it. Have I ever read a review? I
don't remember! Maybe it's because it's such a wonderful piece that
I don't want to be just like many others and say some cliche words
to tell you how great it was and that you should write some more.
Do I think it is great? Oh yes! Absolutely. Do I wish you would
write some more? In a heartbeat! But If you had the inclination to
write more, you would have done it already, so the words of a
stranger on the internet are not going to be the catalyst that will
open the flood gates and compel you to write again; this I know as
well. You are considered among the classics, the best and most well
known writers in the fandom. Everyone who has read Inuyasha
Fanfiction has heard your name, and your stories are favorite of
all. You have a gift, so perhaps in the world outside of the
internet you are already a famous and well published writer, and if
you are not, the world is missing something. I wonder what it would
be like to read more stories from you, I wonder how would it feel
to see your name in a book, and I wonder why amazing writers like
you are not found more often. I love Fugue, it is a piece I revisit
with reverence and love, and I am grateful once again, to have been
able to bask in the tale one more time. Thank you. Thank you so
much for sharing your talent, for giving some of us, a classic to
read and enjoy over and over again. My best wishes, warm hugs, and
much love to you, for giving of you something that means so much to
all of us!

T-T...omg...this is brilliant. The writing is just phenomenal...I
just...I am...speechless. It was so dark and heavy, but then some
humor, and I love the lemon. I had an epiphany while reading this
story. It's just so good~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to cry.
I just...I don't know what to say except how much I love this. You
are amazing~!!! But...I really wish there was more to it at the
end, or a continuation. It's so so so well written. But...there is
one thing or some things missing, maybe that is just to give some
reassurance to my mind probably. What was Sesshomaru doing when he
was gone? seriosuly. Had he made any progress? Where did he
stay...but then again, he can sleep anywhere and not care...this is
him we are talking about...but...yeah... And also, I may be late
reading this since it has been years...many years since this was
done. AH~!!! It's so good~~~!!! I just can't express that enough or
want to express it more. I love it! Love it! Love it!...I'll stop
now, I have been reading fanfiction nonstop and it's really getting
to me, but this one...this one takes a big piece of the cake, the
whole cake... I love it so much~!!! Thank you for this gift of a
story and writing style to the internet and me and everyone else
reading this.

I raced through this entire story in a day and I wish that I could relive it all over again. Depressing in the most beautiful way. Saying that I just loved it wouldn't do this piece of art justice, because it was so much more. | Reviewed By: sunshine161820 [MediaMiner Member] On: August 07, 2012 17:02 PDT Comment/Review: This was sooooo sad! Like depressing in every way lol Inuyasha died alone, kagome was so depressed, the little glimpse into Sango, Miroku, and Shippos lives were sad bc they were all broken in some way... Even Sessh's life sucked bc he'll love Kagome and then she'll die and he'll have lost another piece of his heart... At least Kagome has Sess in the end but she's still sad but trying to heal.... my goodness lol ALL THAT BEING SAID, this story was AMAZING lol a very good/depressing read | Reviewed By: FuzzyToad On: October 28, 2011 05:25 PDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: However many times I read it, it still evokes the same response! I love the writing, style and how perfect the characters are! Nohting could've been done better! It's depressingly beautiful with just enough joy and hope interspersed. I mean, yeah, I'm sad it's not a "happily ever after" but in truth, I think such an ending would have been...forced. The ending you gave it was completely appropriate. Any other ending would have just been either too sad or too unrealistic (putting aside the fact that youkai in the present is already unrealistic...) Either way, you did a wonderful job! The only (TINY) problem I had with this fic was that a few words were misspelled, such as there instead of their, or accidentally putting and instead of an.
