I can't even remember the last time that I've read something that I enjoyed as much as this, whether it be a book or a fanfiction. I raced through this entire story in a day and I wish that I could relive it all over again. Depressing in the most beautiful way. Saying that I just loved it wouldn't do this piece of art justice, because it was so much more. |

This was sooooo sad! Like depressing in every way lol Inuyasha died alone, kagome was so depressed, the little glimpse into Sango, Miroku, and Shippos lives were sad bc they were all broken in some way... Even Sessh's life sucked bc he'll love Kagome and then she'll die and he'll have lost another piece of his heart... At least Kagome has Sess in the end but she's still sad but trying to heal.... my goodness lol ALL THAT BEING SAID, this story was AMAZING lol a very good/depressing read |

However many times I read it, it still evokes the same response! I love the writing, style and how perfect the characters are! Nohting could've been done better! It's depressingly beautiful with just enough joy and hope interspersed. You are amazing! |

this was the kind of story i was waiting for about kagome and sesshoumaru. i knew there was an unfinished story/connection between them. it was achingly sweet (sometimes steamy, whew!) and most of all it made me cry. they were the only 2 lonely survivors of a battle. i pity sesshoumaru because he woke up in an alien era where he can't recoup the lost glory of his own house. i was hoping that we can get a glimpse of his thoughts. he's such an enigma. by the way, i was so intrigued when he said "good" when she told him at the start of the story what era he woke into? it made me think that his hibernation and waking up was planned and calculated. i was right about that line of thinking when he later hurt kagome by saying that he blames her for inuyasha's honorless death. although he hates inuyasha the hanyou's existence was his connection to family, however twisted their relationship is. but later he was torn between revenge and attraction, what dilemma! he can't keep his hands off kagome but he wants to hurt her at the same time. may i make a suggestion? could you write an epilogue of sorts about fugue? give us an inside track of sesshoumaru's mind/plan/angst/atraction to kagome. i don't know if i speak for the sesshoumaru stalkers like me but the revelation would be like rain for our parched souls! i was awed by your "tales from the house of the moon." rin's brutal death gave me a punch in the heart. during sesshoumaru's takeover battle i was playing "let the bodies hit the floor" by drowning fool. it was so apt. i wished that the inuyasha author would allow you to make this into another movie because many would love to see a side of kagome and sesshoumaru interaction. also hoping they would use a 3D cgi this time so fangirls like me can further swoon over sesshoumaru's cool awesomeness. this is my 2nd time to read "tales..." and "fugue." the first time i read it for 3 days! i cant wait to come home to continue! i can't figuratively put it down. *sigh* it made me wanna buy an ipad tablet so i can read it anywhere. i was hooked. damn! you're fantastic! please heed my plea and make a follow-up story about sesshoumaru's psyche in fugue. WE WANT IT!!!!!! :) |

Oh my god, OH MY GOD, this fic was AWESOME! I mean, yeah, I'm sad it's not a "happily ever after" but in truth, I think such an ending would have been...forced. The ending you gave it was completely appropriate. Any other ending would have just been either too sad or too unrealistic (putting aside the fact that youkai in the present is already unrealistic...) Either way, you did a wonderful job! The only (TINY) problem I had with this fic was that a few words were misspelled, such as there instead of their, or accidentally putting and instead of an. Keep up the great work! ~MikoAmaya |

This is the 3rd time I am reading this fanfic and I still cant get enough of it. You have a real talent in making the characters remain original. Again and again I read and I wonder what Sesshoumaru is thinking. You have potrayed him as the enigma he is. Well done!!!!

I loved it! Granted, I had to come to a different fanfic site to read more than chapter one, but I still thought that this story is amazing. And I can see why you didn't post the second and third chapters on fanfiction.net. Haha. You made Kagome and Sesshoumaru so real, it was amazing. I absolutely adore this fic. It has some serious undertones to it, and such, but it really is fantastic. I would love to write more, but unfortunately I'm putting off going to a class to write this and if I continue I'll be late. So: great story, great writing, great everything. :)

Really, you made me cry. I can't believe how mind-numbingly great that work was. Please believe me, it's like I've never read something so magnificant before, though I have been reading and reading since....a long time ago.may sound exasgerated but that's how I feel at the moment. I dreaded the second the story would be finished. Sesshoumaru broke my heart and I hope he can die with her. Really. At the end, I still can't get enough of the story. I'm going to read your other stories now. Thank you thank you thank you!

*Spoiler Alert to those that haven't read the fanfiction yet and are just checking out past reviews* But he's going to leave her. He's going to LEAVE her... this is such a sad thing to me! Frankly, I shouldn't have expected a happy(ish) ending, since most of this story was wrought with heavy material, but one like me hoped. It wasn't completely bitter (more like bittersweet), and definitely more realistic than most fanfiction endings, that I can be certain of. I'm guilty of writing a happy ending or two, those bordering on perfect fairy tale endings which never exist in real life, that I will admit. However, I did enjoy this story very much, as well as your Tales/House story (which is one of my all-time favourite fanfictions). Please continue to write, if it pleasures you to do so. I will be around to read if you ever do.

This is perhaps the best and most enjoyable story, fictional and fanfictional, I have read in a while. It made me feel what Kagome felt and I almost cried twice during the last chapter because I could emphasise with how her heart was shattering. And that is quite a feat too in bringing me to almost tears since I don't cry over fiction. Thank you for this superb tale you have written.
