Wonderful! You've managed to keep Inuyasha in character with the whole "I'm an asshole, but it's for her own good" thing. Soooo much better than the "Inuyasha is just an asshole, period" fics. But I have to admit that you've got me worried for Kenshin and Kagome now. A proposal of marriage BEFORE the Big Honking Naraku Fight Scene leaves me a bit wary (is that the theme from "Jaws" I hear in the background?) As for the IY-Fruits Basket thing...*evil grin* Yes, I'm notorious for putting alternate-pairing fics in people's heads. As a matter of fact, I've got a friend working on one right now (hooray gift fics!!!) And I'm all about Kagome-Shigure. I do *so* love those slightly evil bishis! They're just so darn smexy. (Speaking of which...I can't picture Inuyasha as anything other than the seme. *grin* I had this same discussion with someone a while back about what a Hiei-Sesshoumaru pairing would be like. We figured they'd kill each other before they ever settled on who had penetration rights. But the pillow talk would be hilarious to write.) So...review? Check. OTP? Check. Displayed my own hentai-ness for all the world to see? Check. Update soon!

gee, Sango and Miroku are not being very understanding, are they? and Inuyasha is a total bastard, even though he is usually like that. anyway, I like your story R rated or not (I am glad the sex scene was not graphic, those disgust me). Please update soon. ~Tsuki

OH OH...that doesn't sound to promising...GULP...I mean Kenshin is fast you gotta give him that but he doesn't heal as fast as Inu...Hope they don't get too messy...wonder what's gonna happen next...and if she does tell him I can't wait to see his reaction:D...and its great to see you again hope everything goes OK

i think this story is very well writen and its actually very original. no kagome turning demon or inuyasha being and undercreative jerk and instintly regreating going to kikyo(mabye a little but its more dark and not so shallow).also the situation with the other group members is a first because you have taken out the usually sisterly and brotherly aspect of miroku and sango and went much deeper into the situation.i have to say this is one of the best crossovers ive read, i hope you continue with it.

I'm so glad you're doing better, and that you've resumed work on A Choice of Roads. It's one of my very favorite crossovers. I can hardly wait to see why the group is concerned with the Kenshin/Kagome pairing. Hopefully Inuyasha isn't trying to thrash Kenshin--it's Inu's own fault for suggesting the intimate relationship (like a total insensitive pig, nonetheless.) Thanks!

DUN...DUN...DUNNNNN! Nice cliffhanger there! Will Inuyasha be retracting his "permission" for Kagome to "fuck the assassin?" Is he attempting to beat the red-haired bishi senseless? OR MAYBE, just maybe, Kenshin's been cheating on Kagome with Inuyasha! Gasp! How dare he! *bursts into uncontrollable giggles* Okay, okay, I'll be serious now. I loved how you described the "zen of clothes-washing." I've wanted to write something along the same lines for a while now, with Kagome sweeping the shrine steps (heh...as a "housewife," I understand completely the zen to be found in these everyday, monotonous tasks. Too well, sometimes.) So Miroku and Sango have been gettin' their groove on, and Shippou's the only one who doesn't have a problem with Kagome and Kenshin's relationship, eh? I'm curious to see how this turns out. Which is a good thing. *shakes head* Sorry for the, ah, disjointed review here. I'm supposed to be working on "Paradox," but...*shrugs* Keep up the good work! (And on a side note, I agree with you completely about KagomeXanybody pairings. You've now set the bar for KagomeXKenshin. Now I'm just sitting back and waiting for a decent IYxFruits Basket crossover. Le sigh.)

Well, I won't lie to you and say that I wouldn't have preferred something more graphic ('cause we all KNOW that would be a lie!) But, as you said, the sex scene was artsy, and you did a beautiful job of capturing the real mood of that very first time in all its trepidation and fumbling and brand-spanking-newness. Kagome's nervous little "speech" there at the beginning...oh, lord, been there, done that. All in all, very realistic and very well done.
