Sigh, I had to add this chapter to my faves list! You know I simply love this ficcy, girl! And how Vegeta in the end goes over to Bulma's lab to tell him how he feels...I know that made Turnks feel all warm and fuzzy and inside, knowing that his parents in fact loved each other with a burning passion. This is an absolutely [b]wonderful[/b] Vegeta/Bulma fic. You portrayed both their characters beautifully, as well as Mirai no Trunks's character. The story flowed smoothly and you did a great job of showing the inner emotion and interaction between Vegeta and Bulma during one of the most vague and unseen parts of their relationship.
There are scattered spelling errors through the three chapters, and it [b]is[/b] a popular subject, which is why I subtracted points in those areas. ^_^; If you want, you can send me the files and I'll highlight the things that I caught in it. |

Wow! Just...just...wow! I know I've said this before, but I really think M. Trunks's POV is the BEST chapter I've ever read (from you or anybody else)! The descriptions make a powerful impression on the imaginatiion and the conversations are so touching I almost cried. Really Ember, this was just awesome! |

kami. im glade you put that in. it really shows how thing MOST likly happend. and that was funny when Bulma was taling about the only time she really saw Veggie's soft side. im still giggiling. and when you put in the hospital part that was so sweet. AND NOW MORE THEN EVER I WISH DBZ WAS REAL *crying because DBZ will never be real* and i feel even worse because im lisening to 'with arms wide open' by creed. it really helps the fic if you lisen to music that fits the fic.
great fic and even better cause M.Trunks is in it,

That was so sad but the ending was very sweet. Veggie was so in to character it was scary. Anyway loved the fic and it really amazes me cause I never read song fics.

This is another great fic. I have found myself fascinated with the Bulma/Vegita relationship since the advent of Mirai Trunks, and his starteling revelations.
I remember laughing out loud the first time I heard it, but over time, and seeing how they evolve through the series and into GT, I was amazed at the level and
depth of achievement the writers attained with these characters. However, I think it is the fans that really create that missing flavor, that humanness (pardon the expression)
that comes with life. I enjoyed your fic very much. I have read seveal here that seem to hit that mark of "keeping to character", but yours, so far, has been the
strongest. I liked the idea of the one night stand, the emotions and the lust, and how each realized that this was "it"....Bulma's being a single mother (for a time),
and how her parents handeled it. (They always did seem pretty open minded). The repercussions of the relationship, and how both responded.
Vegita never looses his cockiness (uh, no pun intended). He also shows a side of uncertainty. Of regret, doubt, and even though he is the great Price of the Saiyans...he's
confused in his relationships -- just like the rest of us! I liked the fact that you explored the character but kept within character. I have read some fics where Vegita becomes
loving, soft, tender...every time he sees Bulma. Somehow, that seems simply out of place. It's too much power for one woman to have over him; and I'm not sure he is capable
of showing that type of emotion the first time out. Perhaps once time elapses and he evolves, but it seems to sudden otherwise.
Also, that is not how it is shown on the series -- at least as I perceive it. He always seems rather brusque with her,
though it is evident he also cares for her.
I thought the overall fic was inviting, well written, involving. It certainly had a very powerful love scene! (I'll never look at the ceiling the same way again).
I liked both viewpoints, too. |

I really enjoyed this! I love V/B lemons (I collect them and write them) and nowadays it's very difficult to find one that's as good as you write. You portrayed the characters very accurately, especially Vegeta. This was a very sad fanfic. You know a fanfic is well written when it has enough emotion to capture the reader and bring them to near tears! I want to thank you on your good work! And keep it up. |
