I'm guessing that the "her" being referred to is the one responsible for the drug mentioned. Second I'm guessing that the Cyberdramon is the V-Dramon that had a crush on Lady Devimon at the begining of the London Diaries. |

Their bond is unique and no other Chosen has a link to their digimon like Ryo does. Susan or even Taichi for that matter are just as mortal as any other person without a digimon. Just because Ryo has proven to be at least partially immortal, does not mean all Chosen are-- becauses they aren't. |

Just one thing, I though Ryo established that the Chosen and their Digimon were immortal, and so long as one lived, both would survive. |

It is magnificent, and don't stop writing, ever!
I am also amazed at how detailed your characters are. You have not merely taken existing characters and built upon them (though that would be a common, acceptable view;) you have really dissected them and have shown their true insides. If Digimon did not exist, and you had written this, it would still be thourough and complete.
I am also amazed at the complexity of your stories: nineteen chapters, over a Meg of words, and yet you still seem to running ahead full steam.
And you know a stoy is good when it sparks controversy, and creates CONVERSATION between the READERS. The reviews page is as long as one of your chapters.
Also, your ability to defend your point without having to resort to a creative liscense is incredible.
Congratulations. Those who hate this story are nuts. |

This fic isn't just a porn story (if it was, i wouldn't be reading it), it has an interesting plot to it to.
Yes people are right that there are some off points in a story, but that can be expected When can somebody write a perfect story? Especially with this one being so long and intertwined with War Diaries.
Overall I think that you are doing a great job with this and can't wait for the next part in both Red Digivice and War Diaries. |

From where I look, the core characters seem very in-character. Maybe they're not exactly as they were in the series, but all the twists and turns the characters have taken is very much in the realms of plausible extrapolation.
Daisuke in the Anime always came across as rather headstrong and simple (not stupid, just not always thinking things through...), and Miyako was definitely impulsive and always acting on her emotions. Their attitudes to sex in RDD are believable extrapolations of those character flaws.
Hell, these guy are young teens who've been having to fight and kill since they were young kids. They're not going to grow up into textbook model adults.
Also as to whether their parents are acting like real parents? I'd say so. Especially seeing that they're parents to very not-normal kids. If they came down on their kids' behaviour like a ton of bricks, this would be very bad. if anything, they're bound to have learned from the Ichijouji parents - in that if a Chosen really doesn't want to be at home then it's "Digiport open". If they're too hard on them then they have a real risk of losing the kids for good.
Besides, in RDD's sister story War Diaries, Sayuri's mother seems to be acting more like a "normal" parent would. However this could (and has) cause problems in the long run.
And one final note on the "In or Out of Character" topic. If 'fic-writers just go exactly off the original characterisations without having the characters change at all you can easily end up with "Carbon Copy Adventures", with the main characters doing the same things over and over again, and never learning from mistakes or from successes. (a.k.a. "The Pokemon Effect")

I never expected Sora to pour burning hot chocolate on herself, nor did I expect Taichi to be so... well, not mean-cruel, but ironic-cruel. It was a fetish episode, and I think the part about Taichi blowing up in Sora's face was a little overboard, but it was all good. |
