great chapter sue! Since they are in Oklahoma, you should have had bas and syd stop through broken arrow so that they can visit me! you know you wanna! I really love the developing relationship between bas and syd, they complement each other well. You did an awesome job on the action scene, it flowed very well, and I could vividly "see" the fight as it unfolded. The banter between the wi d youkai and syd is hilarious. Anyways, can't wait until the next installment. ~fute~

Ah, nice chapter. Remembering the chapter of Justification with the amusement park, I sort of thought they'd have a romantic little interlude. I loved the little stuffed dog! oh yey!!!! she finally got him into that bed! but that was so underhanded! bad syd! lol... and yey for oklahoma!!! Thanks for the Christmas present. I'm loving this one so much I only realized yesterday that we have yet to see a single cannon character on stage. The interaction between Bas and Sydnie makes me grin like a fool.
